RENUNCIÓ ELSA GLADYS CIFUENTES ARANZAZU AL CARGO DE DIRECTORA DE LA UNIVERSIDAD DE SANTA ROSA DE CABAL UNISARC.

Por motivos de salud, Elsa Gladys Cifuentes Aránzazu, presentó renuncia irrevocable al cargo de rectora de la Universidad UNISARC, en Santa Rosa de Cabal.

La decisión fue tomada oficialmente a través de una carta dirigida a la comunidad académica, en la que expresó su agradecimiento y explicó las razones que la llevaron a tomar la decisión.

Debo atender temas de mi salud muy delicados con los que no contaba, y aseguró que con reposo y disciplina saldré adelante con la ayuda de la mano de Dios, señaló su mensaje.

Cifuentes quien también se ha desempeñado como gobernadora del Risaralda y cónsul General de Colombia en Nueva york, deja la dirección de la Universidad luego de un periodo en el que impulso el fortalecimiento institucional y la proyección regional de UNISARC.

Aún no se ha informado oficialmente quién asumirá en calidad de encargado o en propiedad la rectoría.

For health reasons, Elsa Gladys Cifuentes Aránzazu submitted her irrevocable resignation from her position as rector of UNISARC University, in Santa Rosa de Cabal.

The decision was officially made through a letter addressed to the academic community, in which she expressed her gratitude and explained the reasons that led her to make the decision.

I must address very delicate health issues that I hadn’t anticipated, and she assured me that with rest and discipline, I will get ahead with the help of God’s hand, her message stated.

Cifuentes, who has also served as governor of Risaralda and Consul General of Colombia in New York, is leaving the University’s leadership after a period in which she promoted institutional strengthening and the regional outreach of UNISARC.

It has not yet been officially announced who will assume the position of rector, either acting or permanent.
