Desde nuestra óptica periodística, decimos NO ROTUNDO AL “CHUPE CHUPE”, porque el pueblo pereirano en la conmemoración de los 160 años de su querendona ciudad.

Los psicólogos especializados, rechazan esas frases absurdas que funcionan en la mente del ser humano, conduciéndoles a beber o consumir substancias psicoactivas.

“Las Fiestas de la Cosecha” fueron avaladas hace muchos años, para exaltar a los trabajadores del campo (cosecheros de café) que fueron el motor económico por muchos años de esta tierra bendecida por DIOS.

Nuevamente se le fueron las luces al señor alcalde Carlos Alberto Maya López, insistiendo con la frase del “CHUPE CHUPE”, dejando a un lado nuestras fortalezas de: innovadores, artistas, fuerza trabajadora, belleza de nuestras mujeres, tesón y empuje de la juventud, amor por el estudio; y, sobre todo sentido de pertenencia traducido en Civismo que identifica a Pereira a nivel mundial.

From our journalistic point of view, we say NO TO THE «CHUPE SUCK», because the Pereiran people commemorate the 160 years of their beloved city.

Specialized psychologists reject those absurd phrases that work in the mind of the human being, leading them to drink or consume psychoactive substances.

«The Harvest Festivals» were endorsed many years ago, to exalt the field workers (coffee growers) who were the economic engine for many years of this land blessed by GOD.

Once again the lights went out for the mayor Carlos Alberto Maya López, insisting on the phrase «CHUPE CHUPE», leaving aside our strengths of: innovators, artists, workforce, beauty of our women, tenacity and drive of youth , love for study; and, above all, a sense of belonging translated into Citizenship that identifies Pereira worldwide.
