CELEBRANDO 49 AÑOS COPESA, CONDECORÓ A PERSONAJES NOTABLES DEL DEPARTAMENTO DE RISARALDA.

En el salón El Cedro del Hotel Movich, el viernes 11 de agosto 2023 en horas de la mañana, La Corporación para el Desarrollo Económico y Social de Risaralda que preside desde la su fundación el doctor Bernardo Gil Jaramillo, en elegante ceremonia de celebración de 49 años de existencia de la Entidad, condecoró a varias personalidades y empresas destacadas en la región y de proyección Internacional.

Sorprendió a los asistentes, el presidente de la Corporación para el Desarrollo Económico de Risaralda -doctor Bernardo Gil Jaramillo-, con una amplia exposición reseñando los logros de la Entidad durante 49 años de creación, presente en todos los buenos acontecimientos de esta región colombiana, incluyendo la fundación de la Universidad Católica de Pereira. Agregó cifras concretas sobre la economía local, regional, nacional e internacional.

La doctora Angélica Gálvez Valencia, gerente general de Busscar, encabezó el listado de reconocimientos. Su padre, abogado Roberto Gálvez Montealegre: exgobernador, exparlamentario colombiano, empresario internacional, intervino presentando el exitoso recorrido de su hija y su excelente desempeño al frente de BUSSCAR COLOMBIA. AL Finalizar su intervención, el presidente de Copesa -Bernardo Gil Jaramillo-, solicitó al doctor Gálvez Montealegre hacer entrega de la distinción a la joven ejecutiva Angélica Gálvez Valencia que recibió el sentido aplauso de los 300 asistentes, con la visible emoción demostrada por su Madre doctora Luz Mary Valencia y su hermano Roberto Junior.

Elocuente la participación, en el atril central, del presidente de la Asamblea de Risaralda doctor Carlos Andrés Gil, moviendo sentimientos de los asistentes al presentar agradecimientos a su querido padre Bernardo que lo ha enrutado por la senda del éxito y servicio a la humanidad. Su lucido discurso, arrancó lágrimas que rodaron sobre el rostro del máximo director de Copesa.

En la mesa principal estuvieron: Roberto Gálvez Montealegre, Luis Fernando Gaviria  Trujillo, Jaime Cortés Díaz, Ovidio Ramírez, Alejandro García Ríos y el Padre Behítman Céspedes de los Ríos.

El doctor Luis Fernando Gaviria, con firmeza, reveló acciones ejecutadas para posesionar a la Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira, en el listado de las Instituciones más importantes de América con las certificaciones internacionales.

El Congresista Alejandro García Ríos destacó espacios ganados por Risaralda, en el Gobierno Nacional, para canalizar gruesos recursos para asegurar el avance de obras en esta región; incluyendo, el empuje fundamental para la construcción del Hospital de Alta Complejidad que atenderá a poblaciones de seis departamentos colombianos; entre ellos: Risaralda, Caldas, Quindío, Valle del Cauca, Chocó y Tolima. Relató animadamente los logros en materia educativa, que cobijan desde la gratuidad hasta el aporte de numerosas becas, refiriéndose a la U.T.P. que alberga a más de 18 mil estudiantes.

El Padre Behítman Alberto Céspedes de los Ríos, rector de LA UCP, resumió los avances de la Universidad Católica de Pereira, vertidos en la formación de excelentes profesionales que ya laboran en importantes Empresas en los cinco continentes.

Merecida celebración de los 49 años de la Corporación para el Desarrollo Económico y Social de Risaralda, orientada desde el inicio por el dinámico profesional BERNARDO GIL JARAMILLO, matizándola con justos reconocimientos a personalidades, universidades y empresas que han proyectado internacionalmente a nuestro departamento.

In the El Cedro room of the Hotel Movich, on Friday, August 11, 2023 in the morning, the Corporation for the Economic and Social Development of Risaralda, chaired by Dr. Bernardo Gil Jaramillo since its foundation, in an elegant ceremony celebrating 49 years of existence of the Entity, honored several prominent personalities and companies in the region and international projection.

The president of the Corporation for the Economic Development of Risaralda -doctor Bernardo Gil Jaramillo- surprised the attendees with an extensive presentation reviewing the achievements of the Entity during 49 years of creation, present in all the good events of this Colombian region, including the foundation of the Catholic University of Pereira. He added concrete figures on the local, regional, national and international economy.

Dr. Angélica Gálvez Valencia, general manager of Busscar, headed the list of recognitions. Her father, lawyer Roberto Gálvez Montealegre: ex-governor, ex-Colombian parliamentarian, international businessman, intervened presenting his daughter’s successful career and her excellent performance at the helm of BUSSCAR COLOMBIA. At the end of his speech, the president of Copesa -Bernardo Gil Jaramillo- asked Dr. Gálvez Montealegre to present the distinction to the young executive Angélica Gálvez Valencia who received the hearty applause of the 300 attendees, with the visible emotion shown by her Mother Dr. Luz Mary Valencia and her brother Roberto Junior.

The participation, at the central lectern, of the president of the Risaralda Assembly, Dr. Carlos Andrés Gil, moved the feelings of the attendees by presenting thanks to his beloved father Bernardo who has guided him along the path of success and service to humanity. His lucid speech brought tears that rolled down the face of Copesa’s top director.

At the main table were: Roberto Gálvez Montealegre, Luis Fernando Gaviria Trujillo, Jaime Cortés Díaz, Ovidio Ramírez, Alejandro García Ríos and Father Behítman Céspedes de los Ríos.

Dr. Luis Fernando Gaviria firmly revealed actions carried out to position the Technological University of Pereira, in the list of the most important Institutions in America with international certifications.

Congressman Alejandro García Ríos highlighted spaces won by Risaralda, in the National Government, to channel large resources to ensure the progress of works in this region; including, the fundamental push for the construction of the Hospital of High Complexity that will serve populations of six Colombian departments; among them: Risaralda, Caldas, Quindío, Valle del Cauca, Chocó and Tolima. He animatedly recounted the achievements in education, which range from free to the contribution of numerous scholarships, referring to the U.T.P. which houses more than 18 thousand students.

Father Behítman Alberto Céspedes de los Ríos, rector of LA UCP, summarized the advances of the Catholic University of Pereira, poured into the training of excellent professionals who already work in important companies in the five continents.

A well-deserved celebration of the 49th anniversary of the Risaralda Corporation for Economic and Social Development, guided from the beginning by the dynamic professional BERNARDO GIL JARAMILLO, qualifying it with fair recognition of personalities, universities and companies that have projected our department internationally.
