EN PROTESTA SOLICITANDO NOMBRAMIENTO

DE NUEVO RECTOR.

Con esta consigna, un grupo de estudiantes de la UTP realizó una marcha de protesta que finalizó en la plazoleta de la Gobernación de Risaralda para exigir el pronto nombramiento del rector.

Como se sabe desde noviembre de 2023 hasta la fecha, se han realizado cuatro votaciones en las cuales ninguno de los dos candidatos más fuertes ha alcanzado la votación necesaria que requiere.

Seis de los nueve votos del consejo superior.

Mientras tanto está en estudio una demanda que presentó ante ese organismo Germán Toro Zuluaga, argumentando que el ex rector. Luis Fernando Gaviria Trujillo, estaría inhabilitado para presentarse como candidato parar el periodo 2024-2027.

Una vez que resuelva esa querella, se volverá a citar para la elección del nuevo rector de la UTP de Pereira.

With this slogan, a group of UTP students held a protest march that ended in the square of the Risaralda Governorate to demand the prompt appointment of the rector.

As is known since November 2023 to date, four votes have been held in which none of the two strongest candidates has reached the necessary vote required.

Meanwhile, a lawsuit filed with that organization by Germán Toro Zuluaga is under study, arguing that the former rector. Luis Fernando Gaviria Trujillo would be disqualified from running as a candidate for the 2024-2027 period.

Once this complaint is resolved, it will be called again for the election of the new rector of the UTP of Pereira.
