El hospital de cuarto nivel Carolina Larrarte- Nuestra Señora de los Remedios, es una de las obras más esperadas y una de las más ambiciosas en los últimos 25 años de Risaralda, será edificada en el sector de Cerritos contiguo al Bioparque Ukumarí, esta obra hace parte del plan de desarrollo del Gobierno Departamental y del Plan Nacional de Desarrollo, el Megaproyecto tendrá una inversión a los 600.000 mil millones de pesos y ya está en desarrollo la primera etapa de obras de infraestructura, donde se ubicaran las áreas administrativa y consulta externa.

Con una inversión de $2936 millones, consorcio deberá realizar la interventoría técnica, administrativa, legal y financiera, en obras que comprenden la construcción del edificio de consulta externa, administración y las obras de urbanismo del centro de salud.

El proceso de adjudicación fue adelantado a través de concurso de méritos de acuerdo con estudios y documentos previos de conformidad con lo dispuesto en el artículo 30 de la ley 80 de 1993, en concordancia con el artículo 2 de la ley 1150 de 2007 y el decreto 1082 de 2015.

El centro asistencial de alta complejidad, será un hospital universitario que permitirá el desarrollo  de especialidades médico quirúrgicas, subespecialidades de diagnóstico imagenológico y patológico con una importante investigación regional, además contará con un centro de investigación  clínico y biomédico.

Este proyecto fortalecerá la prestación de servicios en los departamentos de Risaralda, caldas, Quindío, Chocó y varios municipios del Valle del Cauca y Tolima, se espera llegar a tener una cobertura par más de tres millones de usuarios.

The fourth-level Carolina Larrarte-Our Lady of Remedies Hospital is one of the most anticipated and ambitious projects in Risaralda in the last 25 years. It will be built in the Cerritos sector adjacent to the Ukumarí Biopark. This project is part of the Departmental Government’s development plan and the National Development Plan. The megaproject will have an investment of 600 billion pesos, and the first phase of infrastructure works is already underway, where the administrative and outpatient areas will be located. With an investment of $2.936 billion, the consortium will perform the technical, administrative, legal, and financial supervision of works that include the construction of the outpatient clinic building, administration, and urban planning works for the health center.

The award process was carried out through a merit-based competition based on prior studies and documents in accordance with Article 30 of Law 80 of 1993, in conjunction with Article 2 of Law 1150 of 2007, and Decree 1082 of 2015.

The highly complex healthcare center will be a university hospital that will allow for the development of medical-surgical specialties, diagnostic imaging and pathology subspecialties, and significant regional research. It will also feature a clinical and biomedical research center. This project will strengthen service delivery in the departments of Risaralda, Caldas, Quindío, Chocó, and several municipalities in Valle del Cauca and Tolima, and is expected to reach more than three million users.
