ASESINAN A TIROS A UN PERIODISTA Y A SU HERMANA EN ENVIGADO ANTIOQUÍA.

La periodista María Victoria Correa y su hermana Morelia fueron asesinadas por sicarios que les dispararon mientras estaban en un local comercial de Envigado, ciudad del área metropolitana de Medellín, denunció la fundación para la libertad de Prensa (FLIP)-

“Con dolor informamos el asesinato de la periodista María Victoria Correa Ramírez, ocurrido el 2 de marzo en Envido, Antioquia, María Victoria Hera reconocida por liderar por 27 años su programa “Le  contaron a Vicky”, informó la FLIP en su cuenta X.

Periodista de 70 años, se destacó por su amplia trayectoria, sobre todo en el cubrimiento de noticias de políticas locales y regionales.

Correa y su hermana fueron tiroteadas por pistoleros que irrumpieron en el establecimiento, donde resultó herida una mujer la cual fue llevada al hospital de Envigado.

El secretario de seguridad de Envigado Ricardo Vásquez, dijo que en el lugar del crimen los sicarios huyeron en motocicletas las cuales fueron abandonas pocas cuadras del lugar de los hechos.

“ se logró la identificación de las motos  que participaron en el lamentable hecho, las cuales fueron encontradas en dos lugares del municipio.

Journalist María Victoria Correa and her sister Morelia were murdered by hitmen who shot them while they were in a business in Envigado, a city in the Medellín metropolitan area, reported the Foundation for Press Freedom (FLIP).

“With sorrow, we report the murder of journalist María Victoria Correa Ramírez, which occurred on March 2 in Envigado, Antioquia. María Victoria Hera, known for hosting her program “Le contaron a Vicky” for 27 years, reported FLIP on its X account.

A 70-year-old journalist, she was known for her extensive career, especially in covering local and regional political news.

Correa and her sister were shot by gunmen who broke into the business, where one woman was wounded and taken to an Envigado hospital.

Envigado Security Secretary Ricardo Vásquez said that at the scene of the crime, the hitmen fled on motorcycles, which were abandoned a few blocks away. «The motorcycles involved in the unfortunate incident have been identified, and they were found in two locations in the municipality.

We are currently comparing fingerprints to fully identify the perpetrators,» stated Metropolitan Police Commander General William Castaño.
