Viaje seguro al llano en estas fiestas decembrinas.

En estas festividades de fin de año, su Fuerza Aeroespacial Colombiana a través del Comando Aéreo de Combate No. 2, CACOM 2, ha dispuesto de todas sus capacidades tecnológicas, logísticas y de personal para reforzar la seguridad de forma conjunta y coordinada con el Ejército Nacional y la Policía Nacional.

En la entrada a la ‘Puerta del llano’ Villavicencio, se realizó el lanzamiento de la campaña ‘Viaje Seguro’ en estas fiestas decembrinas, donde los turistas que estaban arribando a la capital del Meta tuvieron la oportunidad de interactuar con militares y policías, teniendo un recibimiento caluroso, amenizado con música llanera y bailarines de joropo.

Aeronaves helicoportadas y de ala fija realizarán recurrentes misiones de vigilancia y control, específicamente en los momentos donde haya más flujo de vehículos, como lo son las diferentes fechas especiales de esta temporada, hasta el plan retorno, en el que los visitantes regresan a sus lugares de origen.

La Fuerza Aeroespacial Colombiana dispone de todas sus capacidades distintivas para brindar seguridad y tranquilidad a todos los llaneros y turistas que deseen pasar estas fechas de celebración en familia a esta hermosa región del país.

Air mission brings gifts and joy to vulnerable children in the Colombian Pacific.

The Colombian Aerospace Force, through its Comprehensive Action Center and the capabilities of the Military Air Transport Command (CATAM), joined the «Silent Night, a Minute of Pacific Love» campaign of the El Minuto de Dios Organization Corporation, bringing the joy of Christmas to the Colombian Pacific.

CATAM deployed a C-130 Hercules aircraft to transport 4.2 tons of toys for children and supplies for senior citizens from Bogotá to Tumaco. These items, along with the El Minuto de Dios team, will then be loaded onto a Colombian Navy amphibious landing ship bound for Bahía Solano, to be distributed to the most remote municipalities in this region of the country.

This campaign aims to deliver 11,000 gifts to children in the Colombian Pacific region, in the cities and territories where the Minuto de Dios Organization is present, seeking to offer a gesture of hope that renews the faith of families and strengthens the community fabric.

For the Colombian Aerospace Force, it is an honor to transport these toys, as they represent the generosity of many individuals and organizations who made donations during 2025, believed in childhood, and dream that thousands of children in the Colombian Pacific can experience a peaceful night and receive, through a gift, a moment of love that reminds them they are not alone.
