Golpe tras golpe al narcotráfico: Ejército Nacional incauta más de 2.5 toneladas de marihuana y 346 kilos de cocaína en Casanare

Con esta reciente incautación, el Ejército Nacional supera las 7 toneladas de marihuana decomisadas en Casanare en lo corrido del año, en una lucha constante contra el narcotrafico.

En desarrollo de operaciones militares conjuntas, coordinadas e interinstitucionales y en cumplimiento de tareas de control y presencia institucional, en las últimas horas el Ejército Nacional de manera conjunta e interinstitucional con la Fuerza Aeroespacial, las Armada de Nacional y la Fiscalía logran en zona rural del municipio de Paz de Ariporo la incautación de más de 2.5 tonelada de marihuana en un camión.

La contundente acción militar se desarrolló gracias a labores de inteligencia que permitieron ubicar dos vehículos utilizados para el transporte del estupefaciente. Este resultado se logró gracias a la pericia de los soldados, quienes, mediante un puesto de control sobre la vía que conduce del municipio de Paz de Ariporo hacia el corregimiento de La Hermosa, detuvieron los vehículos, los cuales transportaban esta gran cantidad de droga en su interior.

Al parecer, y según las investigaciones, esta droga tendría un valor que superaría los 5800 millones de pesos y su destino final serían países europeos, donde iba a ser distribuida para su comercialización.

En el lugar de los hechos, los conductores de los vehículos fueron capturados. En total, se aprehendieron cuatro personas: una mujer y tres hombres, quienes presuntamente estarían involucradas en actividades de narcotráfico en la región.

Este importante resultado operacional se enmarca dentro de las operaciones de interdicción que el Ejército Nacional adelanta en su lucha frontal contra el narcotráfico, contribuyendo a la seguridad y tranquilidad del departamento de Casanare y del país.

Las personas capturadas y el material incautado fueron puestos a disposición de las autoridades competentes para su judicialización.

En la zona el Ejército Nacional fortaleció el dispositivo de seguridad con el objetivo de seguir identificando y neutralizando las diferentes intenciones delictivas de los grupos armados organizados.

In the development of joint, coordinated, and inter-institutional military operations and in compliance with institutional control and presence tasks, in recent hours the National Army, together with the Aerospace Force, the National Navy, and the Prosecutor’s Office, seized more than 2.5 tons of marijuana in a truck in a rural area of ​​the municipality of Paz de Ariporo.

The decisive military action was carried out thanks to intelligence work that led to the location of two vehicles used to transport the narcotics. This result was achieved thanks to the skill of the soldiers, who, through a checkpoint on the road leading from the municipality of Paz de Ariporo to the town of La Hermosa, stopped the vehicles, which were carrying this large quantity of drugs inside.

Apparently, according to investigations, these drugs were valued at over 5.8 billion pesos and their final destination was European countries, where they were to be distributed for sale.

At the scene, the drivers of the vehicles were captured. In total, four people were apprehended: a woman and three men, who were allegedly involved in drug trafficking activities in the region.

This important operational result is part of the interdiction operations carried out by the National Army in its frontal fight against drug trafficking, contributing to the security and peace of the department of Casanare and the country.

The captured individuals and the seized material were handed over to the competent authorities for prosecution.

In the area, the National Army strengthened its security presence with the aim of continuing to identify and neutralize the various criminal intentions of organized armed groups.
