El alcalde Mauricio Salazar Peláez, declaró la calamidad pública en Pereira en respuesta al desastre.
En el Consejo Municipal de Gestión del Riesgo, diversas entidades y organismos de socorro se unieron para coordinar esfuerzos.
Más de 800 personas afectadas, según el censo preliminar, recibirán atención prioritaria que incluye opciones de autoalbergue o subsidio de arrendamiento de $350 pesos por familia.
Se garantizarán servicios esenciales como alimentación, atención médica y apoyo psicosocial
Ayer mismo se inició la recolección de ayudas, trabajando en colaboración con la Cruz Roja.
Por su parte, el gobernador de Risaralda Juan Diego Patiño Ochoa, insta a tocar la puerta del Gobierno Nacional en busca de soluciones concretas.
