Jueves 19 de marzo 2026 – Día Mundial del Aprendizaje Digital.
Las Naciones Unidas y la UNESCO consideran importante la innovación digital en materia de educación. Las nuevas tecnologías se consideran como una necesidad social para garantizar el derecho humano a la educación, especialmente en un mundo que cada vez más frecuentemente tiene que hacer frente a crisis y conflictos.
El aprendizaje digital se refiere al proceso de adquirir conocimientos, habilidades y competencias utilizando tecnologías digitales. Este enfoque educativo aprovecha herramientas y recursos digitales, como computadoras, dispositivos móviles, software educativo, plataformas en línea y recursos en la nube, para facilitar la enseñanza y el aprendizaje.
El aprendizaje digital ofrece flexibilidad en términos de acceso al contenido educativo y la posibilidad de adaptar el ritmo de estudio según las necesidades individuales. Además, puede facilitar la participación activa del estudiante, fomentar la colaboración en línea y proporcionar retroalimentación instantánea.
La UNESCO adopta un enfoque humanista donde sean las tecnologías las que sirvan a las personas, y que estén diseñadas para este fin.
