Gaula Militar Eje Cafetero, el CTI y la Policía Nacional capturaron a alias la Mona por el presunto delito de secuestro en Pereira, Risaralda

Esta persona pertenecía a un grupo de delincuencia común que estaba al servicio del grupo delincuencial organizado La Cordillera; tenía orden de captura por los presuntos delitos de secuestro simple, homicidio agravado y concierto para delinquir agravado, debido a hechos ocurridos años atrás en el municipio de Marsella, Risaralda.

En cumplimiento del Plan de Campaña Ayacucho Plus, tropas del Gaula Militar Eje Cafetero, adscritas operacionalmente a la Octava Brigada del Ejército Nacional, junto a funcionarios del CTI de la Fiscalía y la Policía Metropolitana de Pereira, llegaron hasta el barrio El Remanso, de la comuna de VillaSantana en la capital risaraldense, para hacer efectiva la orden de captura en contra de alias la Mona.

Esta mujer fue encontrada culpable de participar en el secuestro, tortura y decapitación de un hombre en el mes de octubre del 2015, hechos ocurridos en el municipio de Marsella, Risaralda, y por los cuales se capturaron en su momento a seis personas más.

Un juez de la República la condenó el pasado 20 de mayo del presente año a un total de 47 años de prisión, por lo que se expidió la orden de captura en su contra, ya que estaba huyendo de la justicia y en la actualidad tiene un proceso por fuga de presos a su nombre.

Además, según labores de inteligencia, alias la Mona pertenecería a un grupo de delincuencia común al servicio del GDO Cordillera que opera en la comuna donde fue capturada, donde realizaría acciones de intimidación y control territorial, siendo su detención un golpe para esta organización.

This individual belonged to a common criminal group that served the organized crime group La Cordillera. He had an arrest warrant for the alleged crimes of simple kidnapping, aggravated homicide, and aggravated conspiracy to commit a crime, stemming from events that occurred years ago in the municipality of Marsella, Risaralda.

In compliance with the Ayacucho Plus Campaign Plan, troops from the Military Gaula of the Coffee Region, operationally attached to the Eighth Brigade of the National Army, along with CTI officers from the Prosecutor’s Office and the Pereira Metropolitan Police, arrived in the El Remanso neighborhood of the Villa Santana commune in the capital of Risaralda, to execute the arrest warrant against alias La Mona.

This woman was found guilty of participating in the kidnapping, torture, and decapitation of a man in October 2015, events that occurred in the municipality of Marsella, Risaralda, and for which six more people were arrested at the time.

A judge sentenced her on May 20 of this year to a total of 47 years in prison, for which an arrest warrant was issued against her, as she was fleeing from justice and currently faces a prison escape case.

Furthermore, according to intelligence, alias «La Mona» is believed to belong to a common criminal group serving the Cordillera General Government (GDO) operating in the commune where she was captured, where she allegedly carried out acts of intimidation and territorial control. Her arrest is a blow to this organization.
