Gaula Militar Meta rescata a 17 personas secuestradas en zona rural de Villavicencio

En el marco del Plan de Campaña Ayacucho Plus, el Ejército Nacional, en coordinación con el CTI de la Fiscalía General de la Nación, logró el rescate de 14 adultos y 3 menores de edad que se encontraban secuestrados por integrantes de una estructura delincuencial.

La operación se desarrolló en la vereda El Cocuy, zona rural de Villavicencio, luego de que un empresario alertara a las autoridades sobre el secuestro de varios de sus familiares. La reacción inmediata de las tropas permitió ubicar a los delincuentes, quienes, al verse superados en capacidad, huyeron del lugar abandonando armamento, vehículos y objetos de valor que pretendían hurtar.

Durante la operación fueron incautados un revólver, una pistola y munición de diferentes calibres, una escopeta, cuatro camionetas de alta gama, veinte teléfonos celulares y varias joyas.

Este resultado representa un golpe contundente contra estructuras criminales que venían afectando la seguridad en zonas rurales de Villavicencio, Acacías, Restrepo y Cumaral, mediante acciones de secuestro y extorsión.

Las víctimas recibieron atención médica y psicológica por parte de personal militar especializado, que verificó su estado de salud y bienestar general.

El Ejército Nacional ratifica su compromiso con la protección de la población civil e invita a la ciudadanía a denunciar este tipo de delitos a través de la línea gratuita 147 del Gaula Militar, disponible las 24 horas.

Con acciones como esta, el Ejército continúa defendiendo la libertad, protegiendo los derechos humanos y asegurando la presencia del Estado en cada rincón del territorio nacional.

The operation took place in the village of El Cocuy, in the rural area of ​​Villavicencio, after a businessman alerted authorities about the kidnapping of several of his family members. The troops’ immediate response allowed them to locate the criminals, who, finding themselves overwhelmed, fled the scene, abandoning weapons, vehicles, and valuables they had intended to steal.

During the operation, a revolver, a pistol and ammunition of various calibers, a shotgun, four high-end pickup trucks, twenty cell phones, and various pieces of jewelry were seized.

This result represents a decisive blow against criminal organizations that had been affecting security in rural areas of Villavicencio, Acacías, Restrepo, and Cumaral through kidnapping and extortion.

The victims received medical and psychological care from specialized military personnel, who verified their health and general well-being.
