Steven era natural de Pereira, vivía con sus padres y sus hermanos, jugaba fútbol, los vecinos manifestaron que era joven muy callado, familiar y sano no era de vicios.

Steven Vargas Muñoz de tan solo 17 años de edad decidió ponerle fin a su vida pese a los esfuerzos de su familia para ayudar a superar la depresión.

Sus seres queridos buscaron apoyo y lucharon incansablemente para que el joven saliera adelante, pero lamentablemente su sufrimiento fue más fuerte.

Su partida deja un profundo dolor en familiares, amigos y vecinos.

Los hechos ocurrieron el domingo 23 de marzo a las 3.30 de la tarde en la manzana 6 del barrio quintanas del bosque del municipio de Dosquebradas.

Al parecer, el adolescente se dejo llevar por la depresión una enfermedad que sufría desde hace 7 meses y que lo llevó incluso a esta hospitalizado en Homeris, sus padres lo tenían en tratamiento, guardaban la ilusión de que algún día se recuperara .

Steven was originally from Pereira. He lived with his parents and siblings and played soccer. Neighbors said he was a very quiet, family-oriented, and healthy young man with no vices.

Steven Vargas Muñoz, just 17 years old, decided to end his life despite his family’s efforts to help him overcome his depression.

His loved ones sought support and fought tirelessly to help the young man move forward, but unfortunately, their suffering was even greater.

His passing leaves a deep sorrow among family, friends, and neighbors.

The events occurred on Sunday, March 23rd, at 3:30 p.m., in Block 6 of the Quintanas del Bosque neighborhood in the municipality of Dosquebradas.

Apparently, the teenager was overcome by depression, an illness he had been suffering from for 7 months and which even led him to be hospitalized in Homeris. His parents had him under treatment, hoping that one day he would recover.
