RESOLUCIÓN NÚMERO 0888 DEL 17 DE ABRIL 2026
Por medio de la cual nos unimos al Homenaje Póstumo a 69 integrantes de la Fuerza Pública, fallecidos en accidente aéreo el pasado 23 de marzo, en Puerto Leguízamo-Putumayo.

PERIODISTAS DE RISARALDA PRI, EN USO DE SUS ATRIBUCIONES LEGALES Y CONSDIERANDO QUE:
LAS FUERZAS VIVAS DEL BAAMI –BATALLÓN DE APOYO A LA MISIÓN DEL BATALLÓN DE ARTILLERÍA DE CAMPAÑA No. 8 SAN MATEO DE PEREIRA, ENCABEZADAS por: el T.C. Rva. Jaime Alberto Osorio Ceballos –Comandante- y el Mayor Edgar Saldarriaga –Ejecutivo y Segundo Comandante-, rinden homenaje póstumo a 69 integrantes de la Fuerza Pública Colombiana.
PERIODISTAS DE RISARALDA PRI, CON FUNDAMENTO EN LO ANTERIOR, RESUELVE:
ARTÍCULO PRIMERO: Acompañar espiritualmente, con nuestros 56 integrantes, a la Ceremonia Religiosa que se oficia, en la Iglesia Sagrado Corazón de Jesús de Pereira, hoy viernes 17 de abril del 2026.
ARTÍCULO SEGUNDO: Que esta Resolución, fue aprobada por unanimidad, luego de ser presentada por el doctor Luis Alberto Contreras Suárez –Director de Salud y Protocolo de Periodistas de Risaralda-.
ARTÍCULO TERCERO: En esta Sagrada Eucaristía, hacemos eco a las Oraciones de nuestro Vicepresidente y Capellán de Periodistas de Risaralda, Padre Nelson Giraldo Mejía- llevando paz interior a las familias de los 69 integrantes de la Fuerza Pública -61 soldados, 6 tripulantes y dos policías- que perdieron sus vidas en el trágico siniestro aéreo, abordo del avión Hércules C-130, matrícula FAC 1016, el pasado 23 de marzo en Puerto Leguízamo.
ARTÍCULO CUARTO: Exaltar los nombres de los 69 fallecidos, como HÉROES DE LA PATRIA que ofrendaron sus vidas protegiendo a sus compatriotas.
ARTÍCULO QUINTO: Hacer entrega de la presente Resolución -en nota de estilo- al Comandante T.C. de la Reserva Jaime Alberto Osorio Ceballos y al Ejecutivo y Segundo Comandante Mayor Edgar Saldarriaga, de manos de: Padre Nelson Giraldo Mejía –Vicepresidente de Periodistas de Risaralda-, doctor Luis Alberto Contreras Suárez –Director de Salud y Protocolo de Periodistas de Risaralda, y Johnny Vásquez Duque –Director de Relaciones Públicas Periodistas de Risaralda.
COMUNÍQUESE, PÚBLIQUESE Y CÚMPLASE. Dado en Pereira, a los diecisiete días del cuarto mes del dos mil veintiséis.

By means of which we join in the Posthumous Tribute to 69 members of the Public Force, who died in an air accident on March 23, in Puerto Leguízamo-Putumayo.

JOURNALISTS OF RISARALDA PRI, IN THE EXERCISE OF THEIR LEGAL POWERS AND CONSIDERING THAT:
THE LEADING FORCES OF BAAMI – SUPPORT BATTALION FOR THE MISSION OF THE 8TH FIELD ARTILLERY BATTALION SAN MATEO DE PEREIRA, HEADED by: Lt.C. Rva. Jaime Alberto Osorio Ceballos –Commander– and Major Edgar Saldarriaga –Executive and Second Commander–, paid posthumous tribute to 69 members of the Colombian Public Force.

JOURNALISTS OF RISARALDA PRI, BASED ON THE FOREGOING, RESOLVES:
ARTICLE ONE: To spiritually accompany, with our 56 members, the Religious Ceremony being held at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Pereira, today, Friday, April 17, 2026.
ARTICLE TWO: That this Resolution was unanimously approved, after being presented by Dr. Luis Alberto Contreras Suárez –Director of Health and Protocol for Journalists of Risaralda–.

ARTICLE THREE: In this Holy Eucharist, we echo the prayers of our Vice President and Chaplain of Journalists of Risaralda, Father Nelson Giraldo Mejía, bringing inner peace to the families of the 69 members of the Public Force—61 soldiers, 6 crew members, and two police officers—who lost their lives in the tragic air crash aboard the C-130 Hercules aircraft, registration FAC 1016, on March 23 in Puerto Leguízamo.

ARTICLE FOUR: To exalt the names of the 69 deceased as HEROES OF THE NATION who offered their lives protecting their compatriots.

ARTICLE FIVE: To deliver this Resolution—in due form—to Commander T.C. From the Jaime Alberto Osorio Ceballos Reserve and to the Executive and Second Commander, Major Edgar Saldarriaga, by: Father Nelson Giraldo Mejía –Vice President of the Risaralda Journalists Association–, Dr. Luis Alberto Contreras Suárez –Director of Health and Protocol for the Risaralda Journalists Association–, and Johnny Vásquez Duque –Director of Public Relations for the Risaralda Journalists Association.
