Narcolancha embiste patrullera en el Guadiana: muere agente portugués y tres resultan heridos.

Un trágico incidente ocurrió la noche del lunes 27 de octubre en el río Guadiana, frontera natural entre Portugal y España, cuando una narcolancha de alta velocidad embistió una patrullera de la Guardia Nacional Republicana (GNR). El choque provocó la muerte de un agente portugués y dejó a otros tres heridos. El hecho se registró cerca de Alcoutim, en el Algarve, durante una operación de vigilancia costera contra el narcotráfico.

La embarcación oficial realizaba labores de control cuando fue interceptada por una lancha sospechosa que se desplazaba a gran velocidad. Al intentar detenerla, los agentes fueron sorprendidos por una maniobra violenta que terminó en colisión. La patrullera se incendió tras el impacto, y los ocupantes de la narcolancha huyeron, dejando la embarcación en llamas cerca de la orilla.

El agente fallecido fue identificado como Pedro Manata Silva, exlíder de la Asociación de Profesionales de la Guardia Civil. Los tres heridos fueron evacuados a centros médicos con lesiones leves. El ataque ha generado conmoción en las autoridades lusas, que han intensificado las investigaciones forenses en la zona para identificar a los responsables.

El río Guadiana es una ruta habitual para el tráfico de hachís hacia Europa, lo que ha convertido la región en un punto crítico para operaciones de seguridad. Drug boat rams patrol vessel in Guadiana: Portuguese officer killed, three injured

A tragic incident occurred on the night of Monday, October 27 in the Guadiana River, the natural border between Portugal and Spain, when a high-speed drug boat rammed a patrol vessel of the Portuguese National Republican Guard (GNR). The collision resulted in the death of one officer and left three others injured. The event took place near Alcoutim, in the Algarve, during a coastal surveillance operation targeting drug trafficking.

The official vessel was conducting control duties when it encountered a suspicious boat moving at high speed. As officers attempted to intercept it, they were struck by a violent maneuver that led to a collision. The patrol boat caught fire after the impact, and the drug traffickers fled, leaving their burning vessel near the shore.
