LA FEDERACIÓN NACIONAL DE CAFETEROS BUSCA EL CUARTO JUAN VALDEZ.

EL NUEVO JUAN VALDEZ LO TIENE PROYECTADO ESCOGER LA FEDERACIÓN NACIONAL DE CAFETEROS.

Mediante concurso la Federación Nacional de Cafeteros proyecta escoger al nuevo Juan Valdez, que es la figura más representativa e icónica de la caficultura colombiana en el mundo.

A lo largo de 65 años de existencia de este personaje, siempre acompañado por una mula, han sido tres las personas que han llevado sobre sus hombros esa representación.

El primero de ellos fue José Duval entre 1959 y 1969, Carlos Sánchez desde 1969 hasta 2006 y Carlos Castañeda del 2006 al 2021.

Este último murió en abril luego de una delicada intervención quirúrgica en Antioquia, de done era oriundo.

Así que están en la búsqueda de quien será el cuarto Juan Valdez de la historia.

Through a contest, the National Federation of Coffee Growers plans to choose the new Juan Valdez, who is the most representative and iconic figure of Colombian coffee growing in the world.

Throughout the 65 years of existence of this character, always accompanied by a mule, there have been three people who have carried this representation on their shoulders.

The first of them was José Duval between 1959 and 1969, Carlos Sánchez from 1969 to 2006 and Carlos Castañeda from 2006 to 2021.

The latter died in April after a delicate surgical intervention in Antioquia, where he was from.

So they are looking for who will be the fourth Juan Valdez in history.
