‘Están bombardeándonos desde Ecuador y no son los grupos armados’: presidente Gustavo Petro.

​​​Durante el Consejo de Ministros, el presidente Gustavo Petro se refirió a la aparición de una bomba que está activa en la frontera con el vecino país, hecho que está en investigación, tras lo cual se tomarán las accione​s del caso.

Al intervenir en la sesión de este lunes del Consejo de Ministros, el presidente Gustavo Petro reveló que en su reciente conversación con su homólogo de Estados Unidos, Donald Trump, lo puso al tanto sobre la ocurrencia de estallidos y la aparición de una bomba en la frontera con Ecuador, que no proviene de grupos armados ilegales, hecho que en este momento está en investigación.

Al respecto, el jefe de Estado colombiano precisó: “Han aparecido bombas, una bomba, tirada desde avión, se va a investigar bien los modos, muy en la frontera con Ecuador, ratificando un poco mi sospecha, pero hay que investigarla bien, de que están bombardeándonos desde el Ecuador y no son los grupos armados».

El mandatario reveló que «hay una grabación, que creo debe hacerse pública. No la hicimos nosotros, llegó, porque eso proviene de Ecuador. Hay una cosa extraña, que yo le pedí al (presidente Donald) Trump, actúe, llame al presidente de Ecuador, porque nosotros no queremos ir a una guerra».

En su intervención, el presidente Petro anunció que, tras la investigación de este hecho, se tomarán las acciones del caso.

Subrayó que “la soberanía nacional se respeta. Entonces, después de la investigación ya técnica, para saber exactamente (si) la bomba está activa, (si) es pelig​rosa. Entonces tenemos que tomar las decisiones del caso».

El Presidente de la República manifestó que “me enorgullezco de haber sacado a Colombia del peligro de misiles, que están cayendo por todo el mundo ahora. Es una época de misiles, una muerte a la humanidad, amenaza tras amenaza. Logramos sacar a Colombia. Ya estaban cayendo donde el vecino. Pero tampoco tenemos por qué ser bombardeados con armas menores, desde el punto de vista de un misil».

During the Council of Ministers meeting, President Gustavo Petro addressed the discovery of an active bomb on the border with Ecuador. The incident is under investigation, and appropriate action will be taken.

Speaking at Monday’s Council of Ministers meeting, President Gustavo Petro revealed that in his recent conversation with his US counterpart, Donald Trump, he informed him about the explosions and the discovery of a bomb on the border with Ecuador. He clarified that the bomb was not the work of illegal armed groups and that the incident is currently under investigation.

Regarding this, the Colombian head of state specified: “Bombs have appeared, a bomb dropped from an airplane. The methods will be thoroughly investigated. It was very close to the border with Ecuador, somewhat confirming my suspicion, but it must be thoroughly investigated, that we are being bombed from Ecuador and not by armed groups.”

The president revealed that “there is a recording, which I believe should be made public. We didn’t make it; it arrived because it comes from Ecuador. There is something strange going on, and I asked (President Donald) Trump to take action, to call the president of Ecuador, because we don’t want to go to war.”

In his address, President Petro announced that, following the investigation of this incident, appropriate action will be taken.

He emphasized that “national sovereignty is respected. So, after the technical investigation, to determine exactly if the bomb is active and dangerous, we have to make the necessary decisions.”

The President of the Republic stated, “I am proud to have saved Colombia from the danger of missiles, which are falling all over the world now. It is an age of missiles, a death to humanity, threat after threat. We managed to save Colombia. They were already falling on our neighbors. But we also shouldn’t be bombarded with lesser weapons, from the point of view of a missile.”
