HOY es el día 71 del año y la fecha se registra que en el área metropolitana se han  robado 28 vehículos de marcas populares, 15 unidades más que en 2023, cundo en la misma temporada iban 13.

Todo indica que se trata de una organización que tiene un modus operandi definido, el cual ha quedado registrado en cámaras de seguridad: los delitos se cometen durante la madrugada, en los parqueaderos de los barrios.

Al parecer la preferencia  por una marca de carros esta relacionada con la preferencia de esta en los vehículos tipo taxi que operan en la ciudad de Cali, es decir,  se los llevan para allá, para venderlos por partes.

POCOS OPERATIVOS

En el año 2020 solo fue desmantelada una banda dedicada al hurto de vehículos y en el mes de septiembre del año 2023 fueron detenidos cinco personas por hurto de carros.

Sin embargo, pese al aumento de este delito en el 2024 las autoridades no han realizado ninguna operación  para el desmantelamiento de la organización. N PEREIRA 1 CAR IS STOLEN

TODAY is the 71st day of the year and the date records that 28 popular brand vehicles have been stolen in the metropolitan area, 15 more units than in 2023, when there were 13 in the same season.

Everything indicates that it is an organization that has a defined modus operandi, which has been recorded on security cameras: the crimes are committed during the early hours of the morning, in neighborhood parking lots.

Apparently the preference for a car brand is related to its preference in the taxi-type vehicles that operate in the city of Cali, that is, they take them there, to sell them in parts.

FEW OPERATIONS

In 2020, only one gang dedicated to vehicle theft was dismantled and in September 2023, five people were arrested for car theft. However, despite the increase in this crime in 2024, the authorities have not carried out any operation to dismantle the organization.
