Emprendimientos y talento local protagonizan feria comunitaria en San Andrés.

En la isla de San Andrés, fue realizada una feria comunitaria de emprendimientos locales con el apoyo de la Fuerza Aeroespacial Colombiana, a través del Grupo Aéreo del Caribe y la Sección de Acción Integral- SEAIN, como un espacio de encuentro orientado a fortalecer la integración social, la participación ciudadana y el desarrollo local.

La actividad fue organizada por las Juntas de Acción Comunal de los sectores Elsy Bar y Tom Hooker, con el apoyo de la Asociación de Mujeres y Jóvenes Rurales de la isla, y contó con el acompañamiento institucional de la Fuerza Aeroespacial Colombiana y la Policía Nacional, en un trabajo articulado con la comunidad.

Con esta iniciativa, fue impulsada la economía local al permitir la visibilización de emprendimientos comunitarios, la promoción del trabajo colectivo y la difusión de expresiones culturales propias del archipiélago, fortaleciendo los vínculos entre los asistentes a la feria.

La jornada benefició a agricultores, emprendedores locales, mujeres rurales, madres cabeza de familia, jóvenes, artesanos, familias de los sectores Elsy Bar y Tom Hooker, así como a residentes y turistas, reafirmándose con estas acciones el compromiso de la Fuerza Aeroespacial Colombiana con el bienestar de la población y el fortalecimiento del desarrollo comunitario en la región insular.

Local Entrepreneurship and Talent Take Center Stage at Community Fair in San Andrés

A community fair showcasing local entrepreneurship was held on the island of San Andrés with the support of the Colombian Aerospace Force, through the Caribbean Air Group and the Comprehensive Action Section (SEAIN). The fair served as a meeting place aimed at strengthening social integration, citizen participation, and local development.

The event was organized by the Community Action Boards of the Elsy Bar and Tom Hooker sectors, with the support of the island’s Rural Women and Youth Association. It also received institutional support from the Colombian Aerospace Force and the National Police, working in close collaboration with the community.

This initiative boosted the local economy by providing visibility to community-based businesses, promoting collective work, and sharing the archipelago’s unique cultural expressions, while strengthening ties among fair attendees.

The event benefited farmers, local entrepreneurs, rural women, single mothers, youth, artisans, families in the Elsy Bar and Tom Hooker sectors, as well as residents and tourists. These actions reaffirmed the Colombian Aerospace Force’s commitment to the well-being of the population and the strengthening of community development in the island region.
