En el lugar se encontró material de uso privativo de las Fuerzas Militares, con el que se pretendia equipar a integrantes de esta estructura que delinque en el sur del Tolima.

Hasta la vereda La Florecita, del municipio de Planadas, llegaron los soldados del Batallón de Despliegue Rápido N.° 13 de la Sexta Brigada del Ejército Nacional, en coordinacion con la Policia Nacional, donde ubicaron un depósito ilegal perteneciente al grupo armado organizado residual Frente Ismael Ruiz.

Gracias a la informacion recopilada por inteligencia militar, se encontró abundante material de guerra, intendencia y comunicaciones, con elementos como munición, proveedores, radios de comunicación, equipos de campaña, cintelas, chalecos multipropósito y antiesquirlas, así como una pancarta y brazaletes alusivos GAO-r Frente Ismael Ruiz.

Este resultado operacional de las tropas de la Sexta Brigada afecta las capacidades delictivas de la estructura, contribuyendo a disminuir el componente armado y sus capacidades logísticas.

Una vez más, se invita a los habitantes del sur del Tolima a dar información, a través de la línea gratuita antiterrorismo 107, sobre cualquier actividad delictiva de la estructura Ismael Ruiz y su cabecilla alias Chapolo, por quien se ofrece una recompensa de hasta 200 millones de pesos.

Soldiers from the 13th Rapid Deployment Battalion of the National Army’s Sixth Brigade, in coordination with the National Police, arrived at the La Florecita village in the municipality of Planadas, where they located an illegal arms cache belonging to the GAO-r Ismael Ruiz Front.

Thanks to information gathered by military intelligence, a large quantity of weapons, supplies, and communications equipment was found, including ammunition, magazines, communication radios, field gear, belts, multipurpose and shrapnel-resistant vests, as well as a banner and armbands alluding to the GAO-r Ismael Ruiz Front.

This operational result by troops from the Sixth Brigade impacts the criminal capabilities of the organization, contributing to a reduction in its armed component and logistical capacity.

Once again, residents of southern Tolima are encouraged to provide information, through the toll-free anti-terrorism hotline 107, regarding any criminal activity by the Ismael Ruiz organization and its leader, alias Chapolo, for whom a reward of up to 200 million pesos is offered.
