Ejército Nacional localizó depósito ilegal de explosivos en zona rural de Mongua, Boyacá.

En desarrollo del Plan de Operaciones Ayacucho Plus y de las operaciones militares adelantadas en el departamento de Boyacá por tropas de la Primera Brigada, orientadas a contrarrestar el accionar de los grupos armados organizados, fue localizado material explosivo en zona rural del municipio de Mongua.

03 February 2026 10:25 AMEl hallazgo fue realizado por tropas del Batallón de Artillería de Campaña N.° 1 Tarqui, quienes ubicaron un depósito ilegal en la vereda Duce, jurisdicción del municipio de Mongua.

De acuerdo con información preliminar, el material hallado pertenecería a la Comisión Ramírez, del Frente José David Suárez, del GAO ELN.

Durante la operación, las tropas localizaron cuatro granadas de 60 milímetros, las cuales fueron destruidas de forma controlada, de acuerdo a los protocolos establecidos, evitando riesgos y afectaciones para la población civil y para las tropas.

La Primera Brigada del Ejército Nacional continúa desarrollando operaciones sostenidas en el marco del Plan Ayacucho Plus, con el objetivo de brindarles seguridad y tranquilidad a los habitantes de la región, e invita a la ciudadanía a seguir reportando eventos que atenten contra la seguridad a través de la línea segura 107.

The discovery was made by troops from the No. 1 Tarqui Field Artillery Battalion, who located an illegal cache in the village of Duce, within the jurisdiction of the municipality of Mongua.

According to preliminary information, the material found belonged to the Ramírez Commission of the José David Suárez Front of the ELN armed group.

During the operation, troops located four 60mm grenades, which were destroyed in a controlled manner, in accordance with established protocols, avoiding risks and harm to the civilian population and the troops.
