En Valledupar fue capturado alias Dani, presunto extorsionador del grupo armado organizado Los Pachenca.

En el marco de la ofensiva sostenida contra las economías ilícitas y el crimen organizado, la Décima Brigada del Ejército Nacional continúa obteniendo resultados operacionales que fortalecen la seguridad y la convivencia ciudadana en el norte del país. 

03 February 2026 09:56 AMEn desarrollo del Plan de Campaña Ayacucho Plus, tropas del Gaula Militar Cesar, en coordinación con el CTI Gaula, capturaron en flagrancia en Valledupar a alias Dani, presunto integrante de las Autodefensas Conquistadoras de la Sierra Nevada, autodenominadas Los Pachenca.

La captura se produjo cuando el sujeto realizaba el cobro de una extorsión a un establecimiento comercial ubicado en el barrio Mareigua, en la capital del departamento del Cesar, neutralizando así una acción criminal que afectaba directamente al sector comercial y a la economía local.

De acuerdo con las investigaciones, alias Dani haría parte del componente criminal focalizado de la Subestructura Libardo Vergel de este grupo armado organizado y sería el encargado de ejecutar cobros extorsivos mediante amenazas e intimidaciones a comerciantes del municipio de Valledupar.

El capturado fue puesto a disposición de la Fiscalía General de la Nación, entidad que adelantará el proceso judicial correspondiente y definirá su situación jurídica conforme a la ley.

En lo corrido del año 2026, la Décima Brigada del Ejército Nacional ha logrado la captura de 14 personas por delitos como extorsión, porte ilegal de armas de fuego, homicidio y terrorismo, entre otros, reafirmando su compromiso con la desarticulación de estructuras criminales y el fortalecimiento de la seguridad y la tranquilidad de la población.

La Décima Brigada, en coordinación con la Policía Nacional, continuará desarrollando operaciones militares y policiales en el departamento del Cesar, orientadas a proteger a la población civil y a debilitar de manera sostenida a los grupos armados organizados que delinquen en la región.

As part of the Ayacucho Plus Campaign Plan, troops from the Cesar Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Group), in coordination with the CTI Gaula (Technical Investigation Corps), captured alias Dani, an alleged member of the Self-Defense Forces of the Sierra Nevada, known as Los Pachenca, in the act of committing a crime in Valledupar.

The arrest occurred while the suspect was collecting extortion money from a business located in the Mareigua neighborhood of Valledupar, the capital of the Cesar department. This action neutralized a criminal activity that directly impacted the local business sector and economy.

According to the investigation, alias «Dani» is allegedly part of the targeted criminal component of the Libardo Vergel Substructure of this organized armed group and was responsible for carrying out extortion payments through threats and intimidation against business owners in the municipality of Valledupar.

The arrested individual was turned over to the Attorney General’s Office, which will conduct the corresponding legal proceedings and determine his legal status in accordance with the law.

So far in 2016, the Tenth Brigade of the National Army has arrested 14 people for crimes such as extortion, illegal possession of firearms, homicide, and terrorism, among others, reaffirming its commitment to dismantling criminal organizations and strengthening the security and peace of the population.

The Tenth Brigade, in coordination with the National Police, will continue to develop military and police operations in the department of Cesar, aimed at protecting the civilian population and sustainably weakening the organized armed groups that commit crimes in the region.
