Ejército Nacional halló nuevo depósito ilegal de alias Iván Mordisco, en Puerto López, Meta.

En el marco de operaciones militares, tropas del Batallón de Fuerzas Especiales Urbanas N.° 4 y del Batallón de Ingenieros de Combate N.° 7, en coordinación con la Dijín de la Policía Nacional, lograron la ubicación de un depósito ilegal de armamento en la vereda Alto Yucao, zona rural de Puerto López, Meta.

De acuerdo con la información de inteligencia militar, este material pertenecería al grupo armado organizado residual Subestructura Martín Villa. En el lugar fueron halladas 5 armas largas, entre ellas 2 fusiles Galil calibre 5.56 mm, un fusil M4, un rifle con proveedor de 30 mm y una escopeta de alta gama con proveedor. 

Así mismo, fueron incautadas 4 armas cortas: 2 pistolas CZ, una Glock y una Jericho. Durante la operación también se encontraron 3 proveedores calibre 5.56 mm, 3 proveedores de pistola calibre 9 mm y una granada de mano.

Con este resultado se afecta de manera directa el accionar criminal de esta estructura ilegal, al neutralizar parte de su capacidad bélica y así evitar que fuera empleada contra la población civil y la Fuerza Pública.

El Ejército Nacional continuará desarrollando operaciones contundentes en el Meta y la Orinoquía colombiana, en articulación con las autoridades judiciales y de policía, para garantizar la seguridad de los habitantes, debilitar el accionar de los grupos armados organizados y ratificar su compromiso con la defensa de la soberanía y la tranquilidad ciudadana.

As part of military operations, troops from the 4th Urban Special Forces Battalion and the 7th Combat Engineer Battalion, in coordination with the National Police’s Dijín (Dijin), located an illegal weapons cache in the Alto Yucao area, a rural area of ​​Puerto López, Meta.

According to military intelligence, this material allegedly belonged to the residual organized armed group Subestructura Martín Villa. Five long weapons were found at the site, including two 5.56 mm caliber Galil rifles, an M4 rifle, a 30 mm rifle with a magazine, and a high-end shotgun with a magazine.

Likewise, four handguns were seized: two CZ pistols, a Glock, and a Jericho. During the operation, three 5.56 mm caliber magazines, three 9 mm caliber pistol magazines, and a hand grenade were also found.

This result directly impacts the criminal activities of this illegal organization by neutralizing part of its military capability and thus preventing it from being used against civilians and law enforcement.

The National Army will continue to carry out decisive operations in Meta and the Colombian Orinoquia region, in coordination with judicial and police authorities, to guarantee the safety of residents, weaken the actions of organized armed groups, and reaffirm its commitment to the defense of sovereignty and public peace.
