Ejército Nacional frustra secuestro, y logra la liberación de una mujer en Santa Bárbara de Iscuandé, Nariño.

La intervención oportuna de las Fuerzas Militares permitió la recuperación sana y salva de una ciudadana, tras cinco días retenida contra su voluntad, e intimidada por integrantes de un grupo armado organizado residual en el departamento de Nariño.

En el marco de las operaciones ofensivas adelantadas por el Ejército Nacional, tropas del Batallón de Operaciones Terrestres N.° 16, orgánico de la Fuerza de Tarea Hércules, lograron la ubicación y liberación de una mujer que se encontraba retenida en contra de su voluntad por integrantes del GAO-r Estructura 30 Rafael Aguilera, en zona rural del municipio de Santa Bárbara de Iscuandé, Nariño.

La operación militar se desarrolló en el marco del Plan de Campaña Ayacucho Plus, mediante acciones que permitieron ubicar y poner a salvo a la víctima, quien permaneció alrededor de cinco días privada de la libertad.

Los hechos se registraron en zona rural del municipio Santa Bárbara Iscuandé, en donde tropas del Ejército Nacional que realizaban labores de control territorial, lograron ubicar a la ciudadana, quien previamente había conseguido separarse de sus captores y refugiarse en una zona selvática en un recorrido de tres días.

Una vez en el lugar, las unidades del Ejército brindaron ayuda y protección a la ciudadana, quien posteriormente quedó bajo el cuidado de las autoridades competentes, con el fin de garantizar su bienestar y brindarle el acompañamiento institucional correspondiente.

Este resultado operacional representa un avance en la lucha contra los delitos que atentan contra la libertad personal en el Pacífico nariñense y ratifica el compromiso del Ejército Nacional, a través de la Fuerza de Tarea Hércules, de continuar desarrollando operaciones militares sostenidas, para proteger a la población civil y fortalecer la seguridad en esta región del país.

National Army foils kidnapping and secures the release of a woman in Santa Bárbara de Iscuandé, Nariño.

The timely intervention of the Armed Forces led to the safe return of a woman after she had been held against her will for five days and intimidated by members of a residual organized armed group in the department of Nariño.

As part of offensive operations carried out by the National Army, troops from the 16th Ground Operations Battalion, part of Task Force Hercules, located and freed a woman who was being held against her will by members of the GAO-r Structure 30 Rafael Aguilera, in a rural area of ​​the municipality of Santa Bárbara de Iscuandé, Nariño.

The military operation was carried out within the framework of the Ayacucho Plus Campaign Plan, through actions that allowed the location and safety of the victim, who had been held captive for approximately five days.

The events took place in a rural area of ​​the municipality of Santa Bárbara Iscuandé, where National Army troops conducting territorial control operations located the woman, who had previously managed to escape her captors and take refuge in a jungle area after a three-day trek.

Once at the location, the Army units provided assistance and protection to the woman, who was subsequently placed under the care of the appropriate authorities to ensure her well-being and provide her with the necessary institutional support.

This operational result represents progress in the fight against crimes against personal liberty in the Nariño Pacific region and reaffirms the commitment of the National Army, through Task Force Hercules, to continue conducting sustained military operations to protect the civilian population and strengthen security in this region of the country.
