Ejército Nacional brindó atención inmediata a mujer víctima de mina antipersonal en Tibú, Norte de Santander.

La afectada recibió primeros auxilios por parte de los enfermeros de combate tras este hecho criminal.

En el corregimiento de La Gabarra, municipio de Tibú, Norte de Santander, tropas de la Fuerza de Tarea Vulcano en coordinación con la Policía Nacional brindaron atención rápida y oportuna a una mujer que resultó afectada por la activación de una mina antipersonal en la vereda Caño Indio, artefacto que habría sido instalado por el grupo armado organizado ELN.

La víctima fue asistida de inmediato por enfermeros de combate del Ejército Nacional, quienes le prestaron los primeros auxilios, logrando estabilizarla y salvaguardar su integridad mientras se adelantaban los protocolos correspondientes.

El Ejército Nacional rechaza de manera categórica el empleo de minas antipersonal, práctica que vulneran los derechos humanos y el derecho internacional humanitario, y reafirma su compromiso de continuar desarrollando operaciones militares para proteger la vida, la seguridad y el bienestar de los habitantes de la región del Catatumbo.

National Army provided immediate care to woman victim of antipersonnel mine in Tibú, Norte de Santander.

The victim received first aid from combat medics following this criminal act.

In the village of La Gabarra, municipality of Tibú, Norte de Santander, troops from the Vulcano Task Force, in coordination with the National Police, provided rapid and timely assistance to a woman who was injured by the activation of an antipersonnel mine in the Caño Indio area. The device is believed to have been planted by the ELN armed group.

The victim was immediately assisted by combat medics from the National Army, who provided first aid, stabilizing her and ensuring her safety while the corresponding protocols were carried out.

The National Army categorically rejects the use of anti-personnel mines, a practice that violates human rights and international humanitarian law, and reaffirms its commitment to continue developing military operations to protect the life, security and well-being of the inhabitants of the Catatumbo region.
