El senador Juan Pablo gallo, apareció en sus redes sociales para referirse al enredo judicial del exalcalde Carlos Alerto Maya López, y aseguró que no estaba escondido y que su silencio significa tristeza, desconcierto y reflexión.

Agregó que ni iba a defender a personas implicadas, pero sí advirtió que espera para ellos que el debido proceso demuestre su inocencia .

“Confío en la justicia”, dijo el congresista quien reiteró que los dineros públicos son sagrados y por tanto no se pueden aprovechar para el beneficio  individual sino para el común.

Senator Juan Pablo Gallo appeared on his social networks to refer to the judicial entanglement of former mayor Carlos Alerto Maya López, and assured that he was not hiding and that his silence means sadness, bewilderment and reflection.

He added that he was not going to defend the people involved, but he did warn that he hopes that due process will prove their innocence.

“I trust in justice,” said the congressman who reiterated that public funds are sacred and therefore cannot be used for individual benefit but for the common good.

Senator Gallo Maya also pointed out to the mayor of Pereira, Mauricio Salazar Peláez, the need to finish the first and build the second stage of Los Colibríes Avenue, a project that has former mayor Carlos Alberto Maya López indicted in court, «this project can become either a white elephant or the most important road in the last 50 years in Pereira.

From here, respectfully, to Mayor Mauricio Salazar Peláez, that he does not allow our city to remain a gray work, regardless of what happens in the judicial process, we need this work.

AVENIDA LOS COLIBRÍES

A sí mismo, el senador Gallo Maya, le señalo al alcalde de Pereira, Mauricio Salazar Peláez,  la necesidad de terminar la primera y construir la segunda etapa de la avenida Los Colibríes, proyecto que tiene encartado ante la justicia al ex alcalde Carlos Alberto Maya López,  “esta obra puede constituirse o en un elefante blanco o en la vía más importante de los últimos 50 años en Pereira.

Desde aquí de manera respetuosa al alcalde Mauricio Salazar Peláez,  que no permita que nuestra ciudad se quede en obra gris, independientemente de lo que suceda en el  proceso judicial, nuestra necesita esa obra.
