Ejército Nacional fortalece la orientación a estudiantes de grado 11 sobre incorporación y definición de la situación militar en Villavicencio, Meta.

Con el propósito de continuar acercando a la juventud colombiana a las oportunidades de formación, liderazgo y servicio al país, el Comando de Reclutamiento y Control Reservas, COREC, a través de la Dirección de Reclutamiento, DIREC, la Zona de Reclutamiento N.° 07 y el Distrito Militar N.° 05, adelantó una jornada institucional de orientación en el colegio María Laura Montoya, en el municipio de Villavicencio, departamento del Meta.

La actividad estuvo dirigida exclusivamente a estudiantes de grado 11, en cumplimiento de lo establecido en el artículo 17 de la Ley 1861 de 2017, el cual determina que las autoridades de reclutamiento, en coordinación con las instituciones educativas, deben promover espacios de difusión relacionados con el proceso de inscripción para definir la situación militar y las respectivas exoneraciones contempladas por la ley.

Durante la jornada, funcionarios y soldados del Ejército Nacional brindaron información detallada y orientación personalizada a los jóvenes sobre los procedimientos, requisitos y beneficios asociados a la definición de la situación militar, lo que permite resolver inquietudes y facilitar el acceso a información clara, oportuna y transparente.

Así mismo, se socializó la apertura de inscripciones y el proceso de incorporación para las escuelas de formación del Ejército Nacional, entre ellas la Escuela Militar de Suboficiales Sargento Inocencio Chincá y la Escuela Militar de Cadetes General José María Córdova, instituciones reconocidas por formar hombres y mujeres con principios, disciplina y vocación de servicio al país.

Durante el encuentro, los estudiantes conocieron las diferentes oportunidades académicas, profesionales y de proyección personal que ofrece la institución militar, así como los beneficios educativos, económicos y de estabilidad que reciben quienes deciden iniciar una carrera dentro del Ejército Nacional.

De igual manera, se destacó que estas actividades hacen parte de la articulación permanente entre el Ejército Nacional, las instituciones educativas y el Gobierno nacional, contando con el respaldo del Ministerio de Educación Nacional y el Ministerio de Defensa Nacional para fortalecer los procesos de orientación juvenil en los diferentes territorios del país.

La jornada permitió generar un espacio cercano de diálogo y confianza con los estudiantes, quienes manifestaron interés en conocer más sobre las alternativas de formación y servicio que brinda la institución, además de recibir orientación sobre sus deberes y derechos frente a la definición de la situación militar.

Con este tipo de actividades, el Comando de Reclutamiento y Control Reservas reafirma su compromiso de continuar llegando a las aulas colombianas para orientar a los jóvenes en la construcción de sus proyectos de vida, promoviendo el liderazgo, la legalidad y el servicio a la nación como herramientas fundamentales para el desarrollo del país.

El Ejército Nacional continuará adelantando jornadas pedagógicas y de acompañamiento en diferentes instituciones educativas del territorio nacional, fortaleciendo los procesos de incorporación y acercamiento a la ciudadanía.

National Army strengthens guidance for 11th-grade students on military enlistment and status determination in Villavicencio, Meta.

With the aim of continuing to connect Colombian youth with opportunities for training, leadership, and service to the country, the Recruitment and Reserve Control Command (COREC), through the Recruitment Directorate (DIREC), Recruitment Zone No. 7, and Military District No. 5, conducted an institutional orientation session at the María Laura Montoya School in the municipality of Villavicencio, Meta Department.

The activity was exclusively for 11th-grade students, in compliance with Article 17 of Law 1861 of 2017, which stipulates that recruitment authorities, in coordination with educational institutions, must promote outreach regarding the registration process for defining military status and the respective exemptions provided by law.

During the event, officials and soldiers from the National Army provided detailed information and personalized guidance to young people regarding the procedures, requirements, and benefits associated with defining their military status. This allowed them to address their concerns and facilitated access to clear, timely, and transparent information.

They also shared information about the opening of registration and the enlistment process for the National Army’s training schools, including the Sergeant Inocencio Chincá Military School for Non-Commissioned Officers and the General José María Córdova Military School for Cadets, institutions recognized for training men and women with strong principles, discipline, and a vocation for service to the country.

During the meeting, the students learned about the various academic, professional, and personal development opportunities offered by the military institution, as well as the educational, economic, and stability benefits that those who choose to pursue a career within the National Army receive.

It was also highlighted that these activities are part of the ongoing collaboration between the National Army, educational institutions, and the national government, with the support of the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of National Defense, to strengthen youth guidance processes in different regions of the country.

The event fostered a close-knit space for dialogue and trust with the students, who expressed interest in learning more about the training and service opportunities offered by the institution, as well as receiving guidance on their duties and rights regarding their military status.

With these types of activities, the Recruitment and Reserve Control Command reaffirms its commitment to continue reaching Colombian classrooms to guide young people in building their life plans, promoting leadership, legality, and service to the nation as fundamental tools for the country’s development.

The National Army will continue conducting educational and support programs in various educational institutions throughout the country, strengthening recruitment processes and community outreach.
