Ejército Nacional, Policía y Fiscalía capturan a cuatro presuntos integrantes del Clan del Golfo en zona rural de Condoto, Chocó.

En el marco de una operación militar coordinada e interagencial entre el Ejército Nacional, la Policía Nacional y la Fiscalía General de la Nación, se realizó un allanamiento en zona rural del municipio de Condoto, donde se logró la captura de varios presuntos integrantes de la Subestructura Jhon Fredy Orejuela Carretera, perteneciente a la Estructura Jairo de Jesús Durango Restrepo, del GAO Clan del Golfo.

Los capturados estarían vinculados a procesos judiciales por su presunta participación en actividades delictivas relacionadas con el cobro de extorsiones a comerciantes y transportadores, el tráfico y venta de estupefacientes y labores de inteligencia delictiva. Su modus operandi se basaba en ejercer amenazas y presión violenta para obtener rentas ilícitas, controlar el microtráfico y vigilar la presencia de tropas militares y policiales, con el fin de alertar a la organización armada.

Gracias a esta acción conjunta, se logra un impacto directo en la reducción de la extorsión y el debilitamiento del control criminal que esta subestructura ejercía sobre la actividad comercial de la región. La captura de alias Chipu, alias Ratón, alias César y alias Fabián, quienes cumplían roles financieros y logísticos dentro de la organización, representa un golpe significativo a las fuentes de financiación ilegal que sostenían sus actividades delictivas.

Con esta operación se libera a comerciantes y transportadores del pago de las denominadas «vacunas», favoreciendo la reactivación económica y fortaleciendo la confianza ciudadana en las instituciones del Estado.

Durante la operación, también se logró la incautación de armas cortas, dinero en efectivo, teléfonos celulares y cuadernos de control de extorsiones, elementos que constituyen una afectación material a la estructura criminal, limitando su capacidad operativa y financiera.

Esta acción añqdemuestra la efectividad y articulación interinstitucional entre el Ejército Nacional, la Policía y la Fiscalía, reafirmando el compromiso del Estado con la seguridad, la legalidad y la tranquilidad de los chocoanos.
