Ejército Nacional logra la liberación de un ciudadano en el Meta, por presión de las tropas.

En desarrollo de una operación militar, y gracias a la acción oportuna y sostenida de las tropas del Gaula Militar Ariari, fue liberado un ciudadano que había sido secuestrado por un grupo delincuencial organizado, bajo el mando de alias Andresito.

La víctima fue citada en zona rural del municipio de Granada, donde esta estructura ilegal pretendía exigir 300 millones de pesos por su liberación. Tras la denuncia interpuesta, las tropas activaron el Plan Candado y adelantaron operaciones militares en la vereda Versalles, área rural de San Juan de Arama, donde lograron la liberación por la presión ejercida en el sector.

Posterior a la operación, se efectuó la verificación del área y la coordinación con el CTI de la Fiscalía General de la Nación, garantizando la judicialización de los responsables y el acompañamiento integral a la víctima y su familia.

El Ejército Nacional, a través del Gaula Militar Ariari, reafirma su compromiso indeclinable con la defensa de la libertad personal y la lucha frontal contra la extorsión y el secuestro, delitos que atentan contra la seguridad, la tranquilidad y la vida de los colombianos.
