NATIONAL EDUCATION.
Tomorrow the businessmen, the merchants, the production unions, the civic associations, the students, the independent professionals, the cultural associations, the housewives, the farmers, men and women, of the common people, will take to the streets of all the cities and towns of the country to express the rejection of the recent decisions of President Gustavo Francisco Petro Urrego, and the disagreement with the way the President of the Republic is guiding the country.
According to the promoters and organizers, it is a peaceful march with which they want to show that the majority of Colombians do not agree with, in addition to the content of the reforms proposed by the government, the way in which it intends to implement them in the face of the refusal of the Congress to approve them as presented.
It will also be an expression of disapproval of the president’s proposal to call an Assembly without compliance with the establishments established in the National Constitution itself and respecting the steps that it contemplates, but in his words to a «popular constituent.»
The Government has the obligation to guarantee tomorrow’s march and to hear the voices of the most representative sectors of the country’s march and who are the majority of Colombians.
