DURNTE EL PUENTE FESTIVO DE VELITAS, HELICÓTEROS DE LAS FUERZS MILITARES BRINDAN SEGURIDAD A LOS VIAJEROS.

During the Velitas holiday weekend, Colombian Air Force helicopters provide security for travelers.
As part of the security measures implemented in the region, the Colombian Air Force (FAC) is conducting continuous overflights during the Velitas holiday weekend in the departments of Antioquia, Chocó, and Córdoba, covering the main transportation corridors, as well as rural and urban areas and strategic municipalities.

These aerial operations aim to ensure the safety and peace of mind of travelers at the start of the holiday season, while also allowing for real-time monitoring of critical points, access routes, and essential infrastructure in these departments, thus strengthening the response capacity to any situation that could affect the normal course of activities during this time of year.

In conjunction with these efforts, the crews of Combat Air Command No. 5 are conducting information operations by dropping leaflets and using aerial loudspeakers, reminding citizens of the importance of promptly reporting any incident that could compromise the safety and well-being of their communities.

At the same time, the Colombian Air Force (FAC) maintains constant communication with authorities on the ground, reporting any irregularities that could disrupt public order or endanger the population, and reinforcing the control and security efforts carried out by the Army and the National Police.

With these comprehensive actions, the Colombian Air Force reaffirms its institutional commitment to the defense, security, and well-being of all Colombians, maintaining an active presence on land and in the air and contributing to the safe and peaceful development of activities typical of this season.

Como parte de las acciones de seguridad implementadas en la región, la Fuerza Aeroespacial Colombiana, FAC, adelanta durante el puente festivo de Velitas sobrevuelos permanentes en los departamentos de Antioquia, Chocó y Córdoba, cubriendo los principales corredores de movilidad, así como zonas rurales, urbanas y municipios estratégicos.

Estas operaciones aéreas tienen como propósito velar por la seguridad y tranquilidad de los viajeros en el inicio de la temporada navideña, al tiempo que permiten verificar en tiempo real los puntos críticos, las vías de acceso y la infraestructura esencial de estos departamentos, fortaleciendo así la capacidad de respuesta ante cualquier situación que pueda afectar el normal desarrollo de las actividades propias de esta época.

De manera articulada con estos esfuerzos, las tripulaciones del Comando Aéreo de Combate No. 5 ejecutan operaciones de información mediante el lanzamiento de volantes y perifoneo aéreo, recordando a la ciudadanía la importancia de denunciar oportunamente cualquier hecho que pueda comprometer la seguridad y la convivencia en sus comunidades.

A su vez, la FAC mantiene comunicación permanente con las autoridades en tierra, informando sobre posibles irregularidades que puedan alterar el orden público o poner en riesgo a la población, y reforzando las labores de control y seguridad que adelantan el Ejército y la Policía Nacional.

Con estas acciones integrales, la Fuerza Aeroespacial Colombiana reafirma su compromiso institucional con la defensa, la seguridad y el bienestar de todos los colombianos, manteniendo presencia activa por tierra y aire y contribuyendo al desarrollo seguro y tranquilo de las actividades propias de esta temporada.
