La Procuraduría General de la Nación abrió investigación contra el Superintendente Nacional de Salud, Luis Carlos Leal Angarita, por presuntas irregularidades presentadas en la toma de posesión e intervención forzosa administrativa de la EPS Sanitas, así como en la designación de su agente interventor, Dúver Dicson Vargas Rojas.

La apertura de la investigación disciplina  tiene origen en una queja  instaurad en conta de superintendencia, por una aparente falsa motivación consignada en la resolución  que ordenó la intervención de la EPS.

El Órgano de control solicitó a la Supersalud copia del proceso adelantado para tomar posesión de esa entidad, así como del trámite realizado para designar al agente interventor .

Igualmente requirió el número de quejas, reclamaciones y tutelas con relación  al número de afiliados y las deudas de las EPS contraídas con la red de pesadores  y proveedores de servicios, insumos y tecnología en salud, entre otras pruebas.

The Attorney General’s Office opened an investigation against the National Superintendent of Health, Luis Carlos Leal Angarita, for alleged irregularities in the takeover and forced administrative intervention of the EPS Sanitas, as well as in the appointment of its intervening agent, Dúver Dicson Vargas Rojas.

The opening of the disciplinary investigation has its origin in a complaint filed by the superintendency, due to an apparent false motivation stated in the resolution that ordered the intervention of the EPS.

The Control Body requested from Supersalud a copy of the process carried out to take possession of that entity, as well as the procedure carried out to designate the intervening agent.

It also required the number of complaints, claims and protections in relation to the number of members and the debts of the EPS contracted with the network of weighers and providers of health services, supplies and technology, among other evidence.
