60 nuevos profesionales inician su camino para ser Oficiales de la FAC.

La Escuela Militar de Aviación ‘Marco Fidel Suárez’ le dio la bienvenida a los aspirantes que conformarán el Curso de Oficiales del Cuerpo Administrativo No. 51. Jóvenes profesionales provenientes de diferentes regiones del país, quienes hoy inician una nueva etapa de sus vidas al servicio de la Nación.

Luego de un riguroso proceso de selección, estos 60 colombianos 30 hombres y 30 mujeres fueron escogidos por su vocación, profesionalismo y compromiso. El grupo está conformado por profesionales en Derecho, Medicina, Ingenierías, Trabajo Social, Administración, Comunicación Social, Psicología, entre otras disciplinas, quienes ejercerán sus conocimientos en apoyo al cumplimiento de la misión institucional.

Durante cinco meses, estos aspirantes iniciarán un proceso de formación e inducción a la vida militar, en el cual pondrán a prueba sus capacidades, destrezas y conocimientos, fortaleciendo su carácter bajo los principios y valores que distinguen a los integrantes de la Fuerza Aeroespacial Colombiana.

Entre ellos se destaca el aspirante Herrera Castro Carlos Andrés, oriundo de Villavicencio y profesional en Ingeniería Civil, quien recientemente culminó su servicio militar con la Fuerza Aeroespacial Colombiana. Gracias a su vocación y deseo de servir al país, fue condecorado con la Medalla Juan Bautista Solarte Obando, distinción otorgada a los soldados de tierra, mar y aire que se destacan por su ejemplo, valor, honor y compromiso con la Nación. Este reconocimiento le abrió la puerta para continuar su formación en la Institución, hoy haciendo parte del grupo que, al finalizar el año, recibirá el ascenso como Oficiales de la FAC.

La ceremonia de bienvenida fue presidida por el señor Brigadier General Óscar Mauricio Gómez Muñoz, Director de la EMAVI, quien destacó que comienza un nuevo camino para estos jóvenes que, con determinación, han decidido honrar a su país. Asimismo, exaltó a los integrantes del Curso de Oficiales del Cuerpo Administrativo No. 51, deseándoles muchos éxitos y exhortándolos a dar siempre lo mejor de sí, dejando en alto el nombre de sus familias.

De esta manera, la EMAVI invita a todos los jóvenes profesionales del país a conocer los procesos de incorporación y ser parte de la Fuerza Aeroespacial Colombiana.

60 new professionals begin their journey to become FAC Officers
The Marco Fidel Suárez Military Aviation School welcomed the applicants who will participate in the 51st Administrative Corps Officer Course. Young professionals from different regions of the country are beginning a new stage of their lives serving the nation today.

After a rigorous selection process, these 60 Colombians—30 men and 30 women—were chosen for their vocation, professionalism, and commitment. The group is made up of professionals in Law, Medicine, Engineering, Social Work, Administration, Social Communication, Psychology, among other disciplines, who will use their knowledge to support the fulfillment of the institutional mission.

For five months, these candidates will begin a training and induction process into military life, in which they will test their abilities, skills, and knowledge, strengthening their character based on the principles and values that distinguish the members of the Colombian Aerospace Force.

Among them, candidate Herrera Castro Carlos Andrés, a native of Villavicencio and a professional in Civil Engineering, stands out. He recently completed his military service with the Colombian Aerospace Force. Thanks to his vocation and desire to serve the country, he was awarded the Juan Bautista Solarte Obando Medal, a distinction awarded to land, sea, and air soldiers who stand out for their example, courage, honor, and commitment to the nation. This recognition opened the door for him to continue his training in the Institution, and he is now part of the group that, at the end of the year, will be promoted to FAC Officers.

The welcoming ceremony was presided over by Brigadier General Óscar Mauricio Gómez Muñoz, Director of EMAVI, who emphasized that a new path has begun for these young people who, with determination, have decided to honor their country. He also praised the members of the 51st Administrative Corps Officers Course, wishing them much success and urging them to always give their best, honoring their families.

In this way, EMAVI invites all young professionals in the country to learn about the incorporation processes and become part of the Colombian Aerospace Force.
