Emm el segundo semestre de ese año  empezarían a funcionar los cursos tecnológicos y técnicos con el SENA en Santa Rosa de Cabal,  enfocados en el tema de turismo., gastronomía, hotelería, barismo  entre otros.

Así lo manifestó el alcalde del municipio, quien aseguró que los cursos  se dictarían en las tardes y noches en las aulas del colegio Labouré que fue inaugurado el año pasado.

Esa es una de las apuestas turísticas de la actual administración municipal, a la que se suman otras como la inauguración  del Recinto Gastronómico y Artesanal que sería finalizado en junio de este año, así como la construcción  escaleras eléctricas en sectores de los barrios  unidos del sur, entre oros.
