TRES AÑOS DE LUCHA Y POR FIN HUBO JUSTICIA CONDENAN A FUNCIONARIO PÚBLICO POR PEGARLE A SU PAREJA.

Después de casi tres años de audiencias aplazadas, excusas y dilaciones, por fin la justicia le dio la razón a Diana Marcela Romero, una mujer pereirana que no se cansó de denunciar al hombre que la goleó en plena noche buena de 202l. el agresor Carlos Humberto Vélez Moreno,  funcionario público, que condenado a cuatro años de prisión sin ningún beneficio, aunque por ahora sigue libre mientras el Todo comenzó el 24 de diciembre de 2021, cuando Diana Marcela decidió terminar su relación con Vélez Moreno con quien convivía en un apartamento del  I. según su testimonio, no soporto la ruptura, la sujeto del cuello, la empujo contra un pared y le dio un cachetada frente al hijo menor de la mujer. Con esto desmintió la versión del acusado, quien alegaba que ella solo era una inquilina, y afirmó que compartían cama, hogar y responsabilidades. El fallo dejó claro que Vélez abusó de su poder y autoridad dentro del hogar,  afectando tanto la integridad de la víctima como el bienestar que presenció la agresión.

LAS PALABRAS DE DIANA

“ Para mí, como víctima, esta sentencia representa una profunda paz y la satisfacción de haber podido demostrar la verdad. Durante todo el proceso el baso su defensa en mentiras, diciendo que yo era solo una inquilina. Pero la Justicia reconoció nuestra convivencia y lo condenó. Se que apelará, pero confió de que el Tribunal confirmará la Condena”, expreso Diana Marcela.

También recordó que la Comisaria Centro y  hasta la Corte Suprema ya habían reconocido la existencia de la violencia intrafamiliar en su caso.

Aunque el agresor aún  no está. Detenido ella espera que una vez la sentencia quede firme, la captura se cumpla sin más demoras.
