En el cristianismo, el Miércoles Santo conmemora la traición de Judas como espía clandestino entre los discípulos. También se denomina Miércoles del Espía.
En este día se recuerda el episodio más oscuro de la vida de Judas Iscariote, el traidor, nada menos que uno de los Doce. Hoy viene a nuestras mentes, siguiendo las Sagradas Escrituras, la noche en la que el Iscariote se reúne con el Sanedrín, tribunal religioso judío, y pacta con sus miembros la manera de entregar a Jesús a cambio de 30 monedas. El plan para matar al Maestro, está en marcha. Por esta razón, muchos se refieren al Miércoles Santo como “el primer día de luto de la Iglesia”.

EL CAMINO DE LA RECTITUD: UNA REFLEXIÓN SOBRE LA SANTIDAD
La santidad no es un destino reservado para unos pocos elegidos, ni un estado alcanzable solo mediante actos heroicos o extraordinarios. Es, en su esencia más pura, una meta universal al alcance de todo aquel que decida caminar con integridad.
Considero que todos podemos obtener la santidad a través de la sencillez del comportamiento recto. El secreto no reside en grandes fórmulas, sino en algo tan íntimo y humano como atender los dictados de nuestra propia conciencia. Es allí, en ese diálogo interno, donde se trazan las coordenadas del camino del bien.
Alcanzar esta plenitud exige una voluntad firme para desechar las atracciones malignas y las tentaciones que, a menudo, nublan el juicio y terminan por perjudicar a nuestros semejantes. La verdadera santidad se manifiesta cuando nuestras acciones reflejan un respeto profundo por el bienestar del otro, transformando la ética cotidiana en un acto de trascendencia. –Rudafra.

Se desconoce el origen del nombre del mes ABRIL; aunque se le relaciona con el verbo aperire (abrir), debido a su asociación con la llegada de la primavera. Es el cuarto mes del calendario gregoriano y tiene 30 días.
Abril se inicia el mismo día de la semana que el mes de julio en los años regulares, así como con el mes de enero en los años bisiestos. Termina el mismo día de la semana que diciembre cada año.
Este mes se asocia con la temporada de otoño en el hemisferio sur y la primavera en el hemisferio norte.
La flor de abril es la margarita. Representa la alegría e inocencia juvenil, siendo la esencia de la primavera.
La piedra preciosa del mes de abril es el diamante. Considerada la piedra preciosa más valiosa por excelencia, ya que posee el material natural con la dureza más elevada. Simboliza lo invencible e inalterable.

Holiness is not a destiny reserved for a select few, nor a state attainable only through heroic or extraordinary acts. In its purest essence, it is a universal goal within reach of all who choose to walk with integrity.

I believe we can all attain holiness through the simplicity of righteous behavior. The secret lies not in grand formulas, but in something as intimate and human as heeding the dictates of our own conscience. It is there, in that inner dialogue, that the coordinates of the path of good are drawn.

Reaching this fullness requires a firm will to reject the harmful attractions and temptations that often cloud judgment and end up harming our fellow human beings. True holiness manifests itself when our actions reflect a profound respect for the well-being of others, transforming everyday ethics into an act of transcendence. –Rudafra.
