Sábado 21 de marzo 2026 – Día Mundial de la Poesía.
El 21 de marzo se celebra el Día Mundial de la Poesía, con el objetivo de apoyar la diversidad lingüística y dar la oportunidad a las lenguas amenazadas de ser un vehículo de comunicación artística en sus comunidades respectivas.
Además, se busca promover la enseñanza de la poesía, fomentar la tradición oral de los recitales de poéticos, apoyar a las pequeñas editoriales, crear una imagen atractiva de la poesía en los medios de comunicación para que no se considere una forma anticuada de arte, sino una vía de expresión y restablecer el diálogo entre la poesía y las demás manifestaciones artísticas, como el teatro, la danza, la música y la pintura.
Todo ello para promover la poesía como una manifestación creativa de la diversidad. La poesía contribuye a la diversidad creativa al cuestionar la forma en la que usamos las palabras y nuestro modo de percibir la realidad. Se expresa de manera diferente y sutil y consigue comunicar cosas de manera diferente, obligando al lector descubrir la esencia del mensaje.
Fue la UNESCO durante su 30° reunión, en París en octubre-noviembre de 1999 el organismo que decidió proclamar el 21 de marzo, como Día Mundial de la Poesía, a propuesta del editor Antonio Pastor Bustamante.
La poesía es un género literario, a través del cual el hombre ha sido capaz expresar pensamientos, sentimientos y emociones, empleando para ello, un lenguaje lleno de belleza y el cual puede ser expresado con recursos literarios como la prosa y el verso.
Hay distintos tipos de poesía, como la épica, la dramática, la lírica o la vanguardista, pero todas encierran un mensaje universal, que expresan el amor, la vida y la muerte, las cuales son experiencias inherentes e inevitables, por las cuales tienen que transitar todos los seres humanos.
Durante este tercer mes 2026, crearé una minipoesía -relacionada con la celebración de cada día-.

dijo mi amada con voz de alegría: /
Eres el genio de la poesía. /.

World Poetry Day is celebrated on March 21st to support linguistic diversity and give endangered languages ​​the opportunity to be a vehicle for artistic communication in their respective communities.

It also seeks to promote the teaching of poetry, foster the oral tradition of poetry readings, support small publishing houses, create an attractive image of poetry in the media so that it is not considered an outdated art form, but rather a means of expression, and re-establish the dialogue between poetry and other artistic expressions, such as theater, dance, music, and painting.

All of this is to promote poetry as a creative manifestation of diversity. Poetry contributes to creative diversity by questioning the way we use words and our way of perceiving reality. It expresses itself in a different and subtle way and manages to communicate things differently, compelling the reader to discover the essence of the message.

It was UNESCO, during its 30th session in Paris in October-November 1999, that decided to proclaim March 21st as World Poetry Day, at the suggestion of editor Antonio Pastor Bustamante.

Poetry is a literary genre through which humankind has been able to express thoughts, feelings, and emotions, employing a language full of beauty, which can be expressed with literary devices such as prose and verse.

There are different types of poetry, such as epic, dramatic, lyric, and avant-garde, but all contain a universal message, expressing love, life, and death, which are inherent and inevitable experiences that all human beings must go through.

During this third month of 2026, I will create a mini-poem—related to the celebration of each day.
