Lunes 22 de diciembre 2025 – Día Mundial Bécquer.
Gustavo Adolfo Claudio Domínguez Bastida, más conocido como Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer, nació en Sevilla-España el 17 de febrero de 1836; y murió en Madrid-España el 22 de diciembre de 1870. fue poeta y narrador del Posromanticismo. Aunque en vida ya alcanzó cierta fama, solo después de su muerte y tras la publicación del conjunto de sus escritos obtuvo el prestigio que hoy tiene. Sus Rimas y Leyendas, un conjunto de poemas y relatos reunidos, constituyen uno de los libros más populares de la literatura hispana.
Su obra más reconocida es Rimas y Leyendas que es una compilación de sus poemas y relatos. Actualmente, esta última se considera una de las obras clásicas y obligadas en literatura hispana.
Siendo un niño, me enseñaron la Rima II de Bécquer: Yo me he asomado a las profundas simas / de la tierra y del cielo, / y les he visto el fin o con los ojos / o con el pensamiento. / Mas ¡ay! de un corazón llegué al abismo / y me incliné un momento, / y mi alma y mis ojos se turbaron: / ¡Tan hondo era y tan negro!

Tal vez, el que me ha inspirado, sin seguir su apreciación al pie de la letra, fue el poeta Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer.
Comprendemos que vivimos para morir en el planeta Tierra; pero… que existiremos -eternamente- en una Dimensión Estelar. La vida aquí es solo un pasaje hacia la existencia perpetua que nos aguarda.

Monday, December 22, 2025 – World Bécquer Day

Gustavo Adolfo Claudio Domínguez Bastida, better known as Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer, was born in Seville, Spain, on February 17, 1836, and died in Madrid, Spain, on December 22, 1870. He was a poet and storyteller of the Post-Romantic period. As a child, I was taught Bécquer’s Rima II: I have peered into the deep abysses / of earth and sky, / and have seen their end either with my eyes / or with my thoughts. / But alas! I reached the abyss of a heart / and bent down for a moment, / and my soul and my eyes were troubled: / So deep was it and so black!

We understand that we live to die on planet Earth; but… that we will exist—eternally—in a Stellar Dimension. Life here is only a passage toward the perpetual existence that awaits us.
