En la noche del 19 de febrero del 2023, se presentó el asesinato de una mujer miembro de la comunidad LGBTIQ+.

En las últimas horas y por medio de una diligencia de allanamiento, soldados del Gaula Militar Tolima, de la Sexta Brigada, en coordinación con la Policía Nacional y apoyo interinstitucional del CTI de la Fiscalía, capturan a un hombre en el barrio Ricaurte, en la ciudad de Ibagué, quien tiene orden de captura por el delito de homicidio agravado.

El sujeto al parecer sería el autor material del asesinato, en el barrio Playa Verde, municipio de Ambalema, en el 2023, de una mujer miembro de la comunidad LGBTIQ+, donde también resultaron heridos por impacto de arma de fuego una menor de seis años de edad y una mujer que estaba en una vivienda.

Gracias a las labores de inteligencia se capturó a este sujeto que fue dejado a disposición de las autoridades.

Con esta captura, la Sexta Brigada invita a la población civil a denunciar cualquier situación que afecte su tranquilidad, a través de la línea gratuita del Gaula Militar Tolima 147.

In recent hours, through a search warrant, soldiers from the Tolima Military Gaula (Gaula Militar Tolima), of the Sixth Brigade, in coordination with the National Police and with inter-institutional support from the Attorney General’s Office’s CTI (Critical Technical Investigation Unit), captured a man in the Ricaurte neighborhood of Ibagué. He has an arrest warrant for the crime of aggravated homicide.

The suspect is believed to be the perpetrator of the murder of a woman from the LGBTIQ+ community in the Playa Verde neighborhood of Ambalema municipality in 2023. A six-year-old girl and a woman who was in a home were also injured by gunfire.

Thanks to intelligence efforts, this individual was captured and handed over to authorities.

With this capture, the Sixth Brigade invites the civilian population to report any situation that affects their peace of mind through the toll-free number 147 of the Tolima Military Gaula (Gaula Militar Tolima).
