Ejército Nacional apoya a comunidades afectadas por emergencia invernal en Villavicencio

En atención a la emergencia invernal que afecta a diferentes sectores de Villavicencio, los hombres y mujeres de la Cuarta División del Ejército Nacional, a través de sus unidades de Ingenieros Militares, adelantan acciones humanitarias y de apoyo a las autoridades locales para mitigar el impacto de las fuertes lluvias.

El Batallón de Ingenieros N.° 7 «General Carlos Albán Estupiñán», orgánico de la Cuarta División, ha liderado junto a la Alcaldía de Villavicencio y en articulación con la Unidad Nacional para la Gestión del Riesgo de Desastres, la evaluación de daños en las zonas afectadas. Este acompañamiento ha sido clave para priorizar acciones de respuesta y garantizar la seguridad de las comunidades.

De forma paralela, el Batallón de Ingenieros de Atención y Prevención de Desastres N.° 80 desarrolla labores técnicas de remoción de lodo y escombros en el sector Juan Pablo II de la ciudad, en coordinación con la Oficina de Gestión del Riesgo del departamento del Meta. Estas labores buscan recuperar la habitabilidad y condiciones mínimas de movilidad y salubridad en el área afectada.

Con estas acciones, los soldados de la Cuarta División del Ejército Nacional reafirman su compromiso con el bienestar de la población, demostrando que están siempre listos para servir a Colombia en cualquier circunstancia.

The 7th «General Carlos Albán Estupiñán» Engineering Battalion, part of the Fourth Division, has led, together with the Mayor’s Office of Villavicencio and in coordination with the National Unit for Disaster Risk Management, the assessment of damage in the affected areas. This support has been key to prioritizing response actions and ensuring the safety of the communities.

At the same time, the 80th Disaster Response and Prevention Engineering Battalion is carrying out technical work to remove mud and debris in the Juan Pablo II sector of the city, in coordination with the Risk Management Office of the Meta department. These efforts seek to restore habitability and minimum mobility and health conditions in the affected area.

With these actions, the soldiers of the Fourth Division of the National Army reaffirm their commitment to the well-being of the population, demonstrating that they are always ready to serve Colombia under any circumstances.
