MINISTRO POLEMICO DESDE SU LLEGADA.

La designación de Antonio Sanguino del partido Verde como nuevo ministro del trabajo desato una nueva tormenta políticas, especialmente después de darse a conocer que, que en octubre del 2024 la fiscalía le imputo por posible corrupción cuando fue concejal de Bogotá por el polo democrático entre 2008 y 2011.

La investigación en contra del exsenador es por los delitos de tráfico de influencia y cohecho, y habría incurrido cuando intento presionar por el nombramiento de una junta política.

Estos cargos fueron aceptador por sanguino, a lo anterior se agrega que ha tenido relación con figuras políticas que actualmente son objeto de investigación judicial, como el expresidente del congreso Iban Name Vásquez y la exconsejera para las regiones Sandra Ortiz quienes son señalados por presunta participación en un esquema de corrupción en la unidad nacional para la gestión del riego (UNGRD).

Mientras la oposición deplora el nombramiento de Antonio Sanguino como nuevo ministro de trabajo en remplazo de Gloria Inés Ramírez Ríos, otros como el exministro Juan Fernando cristo y sectores del partido verde afines al gobierno, lo celebran.

The appointment of Antonio Sanguino of the Green Party as the new Minister of Labor unleashed a new political storm, especially after it was announced that in October 2024 the prosecutor’s office charged him with possible corruption when he was a Bogotá councilor for the Democratic Pole between 2008 and 2011.

The investigation against the former senator is for the crimes of influence peddling and bribery, and he would have incurred when he tried to pressure for the appointment of a political board.

These charges were accepted by Sanguino, and he has also had relations with political figures who are currently the subject of judicial investigation, such as the former president of Congress Iban Name Vásquez and the former regional councilor Sandra Ortiz, who are accused of alleged participation in a corruption scheme in the National Irrigation Management Unit (UNGRD).

While the opposition deplores the appointment of Antonio Sanguino as the new Minister of Labor to replace Gloria Inés Ramírez Ríos, others, such as the former minister Juan Fernando Cristo and sectors of the Green Party close to the government, celebrate it.
