PEREIRA FORTALECE RELACIONES INTERNACIONALES CON ECUADOR.

Para el 2024, la capital risaraldense se ha cruzado como desafío profundizar las relaciones internacionales.

El pasado miércoles se llevó a cabo una agenda en Pereira con directivos de la oficina de Pro-Educador en Colombia.

El país vecino representa un importante atractivo para esta región por factores como: menores costos de transporte, afinidades culturales y especialmente, su economía dolarizada.

Por iniciativa de la secretaría de Desarrollo Económico y competitividad de la Alcaldía de Pereira, empresarios de diferentes sectores productibles de la Capital de Risaralda conocieron de primera mano los beneficios de proveeduría e inversiones que ofrece ecuador, tras un encuentro con los directivos de la oficina de Pro-Ecuador en Colombia.

La agenda también contempló una reunión con los gremios y entidades interesadas en conocer cómo es el comercio entre ambos países y en qué sectores hay más oportunidades.

“Hemos invitado en el día de hoy a Pro-Ecuador, entidad encargada de hacer toda la promoción empresarial, comercial y turística de nuestro país vecino.

Queremos desde la Alcaldía de Pereira, seguir fortaleciendo los lazos comerciales que nos permitan conocer a Pereira con el resto del mundo y que nos permitan potencializar como un destino de inversión, turismo, e impulsar el crecimiento de las grandes empresas comentó Cristian Toro, secretario de Desarrollo y Competitividad.

Por su parte, Priscila Flores, directora de la Oficina Pro.Ecuador en Colombia, resaltó que “sin duda los beneficios que van a tener todos los empresario de Pereira al tenernos en una visita oficial acá en el departamento son, conocer cuáles son las capacidades que tiene Ecuador para proveer a las industrias de esta región y también podemos presentar los incentivos de atracción de inversiones que tenemos vigentes,, mediante las dos leyes que ha promulgado el gobierno actual en Ecuador”.

Esta colaboración promete abrir nuevas oportunidades y comerciales para Pereira.

Fortaleciendo así su posición en el ámbito internacional.

For 2024, the capital of Risaralda has faced the challenge of deepening international relations.

Last Wednesday, an agenda was held in Pereira with directors of the Pro-Educador office in Colombia.

The neighboring country represents an important attraction for this region due to factors such as: lower transportation costs, cultural affinities and especially, its dollarized economy.

On the initiative of the Secretary of Economic Development and Competitiveness of the Mayor’s Office of Pereira, entrepreneurs from different productive sectors of the Capital of Risaralda learned firsthand the benefits of supply and investments offered by Ecuador, after a meeting with the directors of the Pro-Ecuador office in Colombia.

The agenda also included a meeting with the unions and entities interested in knowing what trade is like between both countries and in which sectors there are more opportunities.

“Today we have invited Pro-Ecuador, the entity in charge of doing all the business, commercial and tourist promotion of our neighboring country.

From the Mayor’s Office of Pereira, we want to continue strengthening the commercial ties that allow us to get to know Pereira with the rest of the world and that allow us to potentialize it as an investment and tourism destination, and to promote the growth of large companies, said Cristian Toro, Secretary of Development and Competitiveness.

For her part, Priscila Flores, director of the Pro.Ecuador Office in Colombia, highlighted that “without a doubt the benefits that all the businessmen of Pereira will have by having us on an official visit here in the department are, to know what are the capacities that Ecuador has to supply the industries of this region and we can also present the incentives to attract investments that we have in force, through the two laws that the current government has promulgated in Ecuador.”

This collaboration promises to open new business opportunities for Pereira, thus strengthening its position in the international arena.
