NUEVO COMBATES ENTRE EL EJÉRCITO Y EL CLAN DEL GOLFO.

Nuevamente se registraron combates entre el ejercito nacional y supuestos integrantes del clan del golfo en zona rural del municipio de velen de umbría y Mistrató, Risaralda.

A los enfrentamientos ocurrieron a la 3:30 de la tarde del día 3 de mayo y se conocieron a través de vario videos difundidos a través de redes sociales por habitantes de zona.

En los videos se escucharon intensas ráfagas de fusil, explosivos y de sobrevuelo de un helicóptero militar, los combates se presentaron en la vereda la llorona alta, una zona montañosa ubicada entre velen de umbría y Mistrató.

Hasta allí llegaron tropas de la octava brigada del ejercito nacional y del batallón san mateo, que se enfrentaron a un grupo armado, que, según versiones preliminares, pertenecería al clan del golfo, organización criminal que estaría intentando incursionar en el departamento de Risaralda.

Las autoridades locales y el ejército nacional no han confirmado oficialmente bajas, este medio conoció la forma extraoficial que dos presuntos integrantes del clan del golfo habrían muerto durante el enfrentamiento.

Así mismo se reporto la captura de 4 personas.

Tanto los fallecidos y los capturados, fueron trasladados bajo custodia militar, por jurisdicción de Antioquia, específicamente por el municipio de Andes.

Fighting was again reported between the National Army and alleged members of the Gulf Clan in a rural area of ​​the municipalities of Velén de Umbría and Mistrató, Risaralda.

The clashes occurred at 3:30 p.m. on May 3 and were reported through several videos shared on social media by local residents.

Intense bursts of rifle fire, explosives, and a military helicopter flying overhead were heard in the videos. The fighting took place in the La Llorona Alta area, a mountainous area located between Velén de Umbría and Mistrató.

Troops from the National Army’s Eighth Brigade and the San Mateo Battalion arrived there and confronted an armed group that, according to preliminary reports, belongs to the Gulf Clan, a criminal organization attempting to invade the department of Risaralda.

Local authorities and the National Army have not officially confirmed any casualties; this outlet learned unofficially that two alleged members of the Gulf Clan were killed during the confrontation.

The arrest of four people was also reported.

Both the deceased and those captured were transferred to military custody through the jurisdiction of Antioquia, specifically the municipality of Andes.
