Se conmemora hoy el Día Internacional de la mujer, una fecha en la que se destacan los logros en el campo laboral, social y académico, pero en el cual también es oportuno hablar sobre las luchas que sigue dando el género femenino en cuanto a la equidad y las oportunidades,  que obviamente no son las mismas porque existe machismo en muchos sectores,  además de la responsabilidad del hogar.

En Risaralda muchas mujeres han ganado terreno en actividades que fueron dominadas por los hombres y con su labor diaria abren caminos en las nuevas generaciones;  por desgracia persisten situaciones que las afectan como la disparidad salarial, la discriminación, el trabajo de remuneración, la violencia intrafamiliar, la falta de apoyo y la soledad en muchos casos en la crianza de los hijos.

Today is commemorated as International Women’s Day, a date on which achievements in the work, social and academic fields stand out, but on which it is also timely to talk about the struggles that the female gender continues to give in terms of equality. and the opportunities, which are obviously not the same because there is machismo in many sectors, in addition to the responsibility of the home. In Risaralda many women have gained ground in activities that were dominated by men and with their daily work they open paths for new generations; Unfortunately, situations persist that affect them, such as salary disparity, discrimination, paid work, domestic violence, lack of support and loneliness in many cases when raising children.
