Más de tonelada y media de marihuana fue incautada por tropas del Ejército Nacional y la Policía Nacional en Putumayo.

Con este contundente resultado, propinado por la permanente ofensiva de la Vigésima Séptima Brigada, se afectan las economías ilícitas del grupo armado organizado residual (GAO-r) Comandos de Frontera.

20 January 2026 02:42 PMEn desarrollo de operaciones militares, tropas del Batallón de Artillería de Campaña N.º 27 General Luis Ernesto Ordóñez Castillo, en coordinación con el Departamento de Policía de Putumayo, lograron la incautación de 1656 kilogramos de marihuana durante un dispositivo de control y seguridad vial realizado en el corregimiento de San Pedro, del municipio de Puerto Caicedo, Putumayo.

De acuerdo con la apreciación económica, este cargamento producirían cerca de 1.656.000 dosis, lo que representaría en el exterior más de cuatro millones de dólares, siendo este un golpe significativo a las finanzas ilegales de la estructura criminal dedicada al narcotráfico en la región.

Según las informaciones de inteligencia, el material incautado pertenecería al GAO-r Comandos de Frontera, organización que delinque en esta zona del país y obtiene recursos económicos a través del tráfico de estupefacientes, afectando la seguridad y tranquilidad de la población.

En la operación fue capturado un sujeto, el cual fue puesto a disposición de las autoridades judiciales competentes junto con los elementos incautados. 

Con este resultado operacional, la Vigésima Séptima Brigada del Ejército Nacional ratifica su compromiso en la lucha frontal contra el narcotráfico y las organizaciones armadas ilegales, contribuyendo a debilitar sus capacidades logísticas y financieras.

El Ejército Nacional continuará adelantando operaciones militares sostenidas en el departamento del Putumayo, en coordinación con las autoridades judiciales, con el propósito de garantizar la seguridad y el orden en la región.

During military operations, troops from the 27th Field Artillery Battalion, General Luis Ernesto Ordóñez Castillo, in coordination with the Putumayo Police Department, seized 1,656 kilograms of marijuana during a traffic control and safety operation in the village of San Pedro, in the municipality of Puerto Caicedo, Putumayo.

According to economic assessments, this shipment would produce approximately 1,656,000 doses, representing over four million dollars abroad. This constitutes a significant blow to the illegal finances of the criminal organization dedicated to drug trafficking in the region.

According to intelligence reports, the seized material belonged to the GAO-r Border Commandos, an organization that operates in this area of ​​the country and obtains financial resources through drug trafficking, affecting the security and peace of the population.

In the operation, one individual was captured and turned over to the competent judicial authorities along with the seized items.

With this operational result, the Twenty-Seventh Brigade of the National Army reaffirms its commitment to the fight against drug trafficking and illegal armed organizations, contributing to weakening their logistical and financial capabilities.
