En desarrollo de operaciones militares sostenidas contra los grupos armados organizados residuales que delinquen en el sur del departamento, tropas del Batallón Magdalena, de la Novena Brigada del Ejército Nacional, en coordinación con la Policía Nacional, lograron un importante resultado contra el narcotráfico en zona rural del municipio de Isnos, Huila.

Los hechos se registraron en la vereda El Mortiño, donde gracias al accionar permanente y a la presión ejercida por las tropas en el área, fue hallado un vehículo abandonado a un costado de la vía. Durante la inspección, los uniformados encontraron 16 paquetes con cerca de 345 kilos de marihuana.

Este resultado operacional afecta de manera directa las finanzas ilícitas del grupo armado organizado residual Hernando González Acosta, estructura que obtiene recursos a través del tráfico de estupefacientes para fortalecer su accionar criminal. Así mismo, se evitó la distribución de cerca de 345.000 dosis en el mercado ilegal, contribuyendo a la protección de la salud pública y a la seguridad de las comunidades.

La Novena Brigada reitera que es el despliegue constante, la presencia sostenida en el territorio y la acción coordinada con la Policía Nacional, lo que permite ejercer una presión efectiva sobre las estructuras criminales, obligándolas a abandonar sus planes ilícitos y debilitando sus capacidades logísticas y financieras.
