Pereira has updated and approved its Tourism Master Plan during the second meeting of the Municipal Tourism Council. The main focus is on nature tourism, community birdwatching and various tourism modalities, including conventions, health and adventure. Furthermore, the declaration of the Coffee Cultural Landscape as a world heritage site reinforces Pereira's position as the epicenter of coffee tourism.
