THANK YOU GOD THE FATHER ALMIGHTY FOR EVERY SECOND OF MY LIFE. By: Rubén Darío Franco Narváez – Writer, international columnist www.notieje.com-

Wednesday, November 1, 2023 – All Saints’ Day.

The 11th month of 2023 comes loaded with PRAYERS of gratitude for life, enjoying the present and trusting in a future full of happiness.

1-PRAYER: I intelligently review what I am doing, trusting in the reward of my destiny. I am sure that the Divine Force will assist me in my future steps. I enjoy a Holy Day and hope for a blessed tomorrow. -SO BE IT.

Every second is an opportunity to smile at life. SMILE… SMILE… SMILE… WITH LOVE AND JOY, THANKING GOD: EVERY SECOND OF LIFE. –RUDAFRA.

On November 1, All Saints’ Day is celebrated in various parts of the world, a Catholic date that seeks to pay tribute to all the saints who have existed throughout history and even those souls who have already passed purgatory and are found in the kingdom of heaven. The early church used to celebrate the day of death of a martyr who gave his life for the work of God. But with the passage of time and especially after Diocletian’s Persecution, also known as the Great Persecution, where an immense number of Christians died at the hands of the Roman army, the Church had to group its martyrs into a single festival.

The first one-day celebration for All Saints dates back to Antioch on the Sunday before the Pentecost festival during Easter. Another mention of a common day to pay tribute to the saints is mentioned in the sermon of Saint Ephrem the Syrian dating from the year 373, but in this one only to the martyrs and Saint John the Baptist.

It would not be until the year 731 that Pope Gregory III would consecrate St. Peter’s Basilica to all the saints and establish the holiday on November 1.
