La misa será mañana sábado 5 de julo de 2025, en la Catedral Nuestra Señora de la pobreza de Pereira a las 10 a.m.

Hernán se ganó el cariño por su aporte que hizo con su   generosidad y presencia en obras cívicas y su activa participación en beneficio de las clases más vulnerables de la capital de Risaralda.

Hoy Pereira lo despide después de haber estado vinculado a la Diócesis, por más de 40 años con aportes económicos y actividades realizadas por varios de los obispos que han estado al frente de la Iglesia Católica destacándose su participación activa.

Se distinguió por su activa participación en la organizaciones de los programas de semana Mayor   como caballero del Santo Sepulcro.

Estuvo presente el la posesión de Monseñor Nelson Jair Cardona Ramírez en diciembre de 2024.

Hernán brindo apoyo permanente a su hermano Jaime Cortés Díaz, quien fue Dir ector de los X juegos Nacionales realizados en 1974.

Hernán Cortés Díaz conformo su hogar con doña Melba Jaramillo Marulanda, educando a sus cuatro hijos: Jorge Hernán, Ximena, Juliana, Marcela y tres nietos.

This media outlet mourns the passing of Mr. HERNÁN CORTES DÍAZ.

Mass will be held tomorrow, Saturday, July 5, 2025, at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Poverty in Pereira at 10:00 a.m.

Hernán earned his affection for his contributions, his generosity, his presence in civic works, and his active participation in benefiting the most vulnerable classes of the capital of Risaralda. Today, Pereira bids him farewell after having been linked to the Diocese for more than 40 years, thanks to financial contributions and activities carried out by several of the bishops who have led the Catholic Church, highlighting his active participation.

He distinguished himself for his active participation in organizing Holy Week programs as a Knight of the Holy Sepulchre.

He was present at the installation of Monsignor Nelson Jair Cardona Ramírez in December 2024.

Hernán provided constant support to his brother Jaime Cortés Díaz, who was Director of the 10th National Games held in 1974.

Hernán Cortés Díaz made his home with Mrs. Melba Jaramillo Marulanda, raising his four children: Jorge Hernán, Ximena, Juliana, Marcela, and three grandchildren.
