Fue realizada la audiencia en contra de Juan Carlos Villa Cardona, Alias El Enano, quien en el 2023 aceptó cargos por el homicidio de 11 personas entre 2012 y 2023: tal parece que al enterarse de que pasaría el resto de su vida en la cárcel, maquinó un plan con su familia para tratar de zafarse del proceso penal.

El juzgado segundo Penal del Circuito Especializado será el ente encargado de dictar la sentencia.
